Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Jim Geraghty of National Review’s Campaign Spot joins me to talk about the end of the rainbow for Hillary Clinton. At 3:30, Carly Fiorina, the former head of HP, joins us to talk about the McCain campaign’s strategy in the general election, especially on economics.

Isn’t Fiorina the one who nearly ran HP into the ground in no time flat and left with a golden parachute? And she’s going to give economics advice?

That quote is going to keep me awake at night. God help this Republic if that man is elected.

Some say Carly Fiorina was set up. She took on a company in disarray because none of the men they talked to would touch it.
And even a former CEO who was not successful in her last gig is a better advisor on the real world of this economy than the nincompoop liberal wacademics and Wall Street “investment gurus” who are advising Obama. I heard his top advisor at a conference in Washington recently and I wanted to throw up by the time he was done talking. Some guy who spent the last 15 years working for Lehman Brothers in London but came back because he thinks Barack is the Messiah. There’s a real good judge of the U.S. economy!

Thanks for the update, Rockmom. I remember reading some stuff about her tenure at HP, but don’t remember a lot of detail.
