O’Reilly has double Olbie’s viewers, but Olbie beats O’Reilly in the 18-54 demo. Part of that is due to the fact that MSNBC has positioned itself as the next liberal news network (supplanting CNN). Another part of that is due, I think, to the fact that the Democrats boycotted Fox for the better part of a year and a half. It wasn’t until about 1.5-2 months ago that ANY prominent Democrats would appear, in any capacity, on Fox. That’s why Fox’s Democrats consisted mostly of retirees (e.g. Bob Beckel, Pat Caddell), journalists/commentators (e.g. K.P.) or various goofy “strategists” who looked like they were Hill staffers.

NBC use to be a great news network, but MSNBC, because of one or two people, has made them a disgrace.

I’ve been railing against GE’s new tack for years. Finally had no choice but to sell my stock. I’ve emailed them countless times telling them to jettison NBC/MSNBC and Immelt.

Now GE is into “green”, and wants to sell engines and turbines etc. taking advantage of the current hysteria. It will backfire sooner or later.

If GE is not careful, it will be bought on the cheap, or join this list.
