First, I really appreciate your willingness to protect others. I suspect you are a current or former member of our armed services. If so, thank you.

…but I do prefer to fight battles spiritually rather than physically. And it really does work. I’ve been with friends eating and talking (not drinking alcohol) with friends at a local ale house late at night. When it’s closing time and occasionally one or more drunk patrons want to pick a fight, I start talking to them about Jesus Christ and they literally flee! It’s similar in some ways to this:

You want a real life example?
It worked for this unarmed woman when she was abducted by an armed killer who had already murdered other armed people.

The reason this guy surrendered was that the woman witnessed to him about Jesus Christ and read the Bible to him. If, on the other hand, she had tried to pull a gun on him, she could easily have ended up as dead as the armed sheriff’s deputy he shot earlier that day.

“You’re here in my apartment for some reason,” she told him, saying he might be destined to be caught and to spread the word of God to fellow prisoners. She also read the Bible to Nichols.

“He told me I was his angel, sent from God, and that I was his sister and he was my brother in Christ,” said Smith.

He eventually put down the guns police say he took when he overwhelmed sheriff’s deputies, putting them on the floor and later under a bed.

You know, I don`t think the amendment concerning federal income tax applies to my city.

Hey, maybe he knows martial arts. One great thing about rights like the right to bear arms is that one can decide whether or not to use them. Above all the individual right to chose is the greatest right of all.

If you really want to know, my thoughts on self-defence are based on Bible passages (probably no surprise there).

The battle we fight is more spiritual than physical:

I’m glad y’all cleared that up. Most of us here are pretty much on the same page when it comes to the 2nd amendment. It is protection of our right to defend ourselves against any evil, including a tyrannical government that steps outside the limits imposed on it by the Constitution.

I myself do not even own a gun. But my wife does, and she is an excellent shot. She had to drive through the Rodney King riots in LA, and immediately thereafter went through the process to purchase a Ruger. She then got an off-duty FBI agent to train her how to shoot. I’ve seen a sample paper target that she shot at, and every one of her bullet holes is either in the center of the forehead, or center of the heart.

And she has hollow-tip ammo.

I.E., don’t mess with her. She is the nicest person you could ever meet, but don’t mess with her.

Thanks for that Red Pill. I didn’t know that site existed. The Communist PREAMBLE reads just like any Democrat speech. Really, couldn’t you just substitute the word Democrat for Communist in the above Preamble and absolutely nothing would seem out of order or unusual.

Thanks, Maxx. I’ve posted the links to their Constitution and their Game Plan several times, but I had never posted the entire Preamble to their Constitution before. I was starting to think that maybe I’ve been posting that too much, but comments such as yours make it clear that the message still needs to be delivered. Not every Democrat is a Communist (although a lot are…some notable exceptions are Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman, but look how hated they are by other Democrats Democratic Socialists!), and not every Communist is a Democrat (I personally believe that McCain is a Republican example…his leadership of the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill is 100% in line with the goals of the Communist Party USA).

For sure, Clinton and Obama are Crypto-Marxists. Hillary is just better at the “Crypto” part than Obama is.

You are absolutely correct that the Communist PREAMBLE reads just like any Democrat speech.

Fair enough but I still don’t believe you have anything to backup your assertion about folks with guns not being able to ‘hit the side of a barn’ so we need more gun control. I would be pleased to have you prove me wrong.

One of the things that makes the United States of America unique is that we truly were founded as a Christian nation. No state-run church (thank God), but the foundation of our Constitution came from concepts in the Bible. (*)

We are unique in that our nation was founded on July 4th, 1776 with the following mindset:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness

Our certain unalienable Rights are endowed by our Creator and cannot be taken away. Our Constitution is intended to limit our government so that it is never strong enough to deny us our unalienable Rights.

Other governments of the world grant certain rights to the people, and you are correct that anything the government gives, the government can take away.
