These preachers and Senator Obama all suffer from much the same problem. For decades, they’ve done well with sermons and speeches that horrify, nauseate, or amuse members of the larger public. Their core constituency have intelligence averaging 85 and have therefore been largely incapable of challenging them.

Ann Coulter was calling him “Eminem,” but Eminem actually has talent, like the Beastie Boys. There is good white rap, and Vanilla Ice is not it. Vanilla Ice carries so much more of the essence of “No-talent @$$clown trying to be something he’s not.”

Clue me in, folks. I have never, EVER heard a rabbi make any kind of sermon even remotely close to what these bozos say. And I’ve only been to church for various friends’ weddings, mostly Catholic.

No worries, Meryl; what you have seen is real. This mess is the freakshow that you think it is. 49 years on this earth; 44 years of pretty clear memory of every Catholic (raised), Protestant (married), and community Christian church services; and many, many close friendships with priests and ministers, all tell me that this is unlike anything that 99% of the Christians in this country are familiar with.

The Catholic archdiocese in Chicago must be reeling from this latest news. After the homosexual and pedophelia scandals, this crap is the very last thing they need.

I went to a Jesuit University in CA- there were at least a half a dozen old fruits like this guy who basically didn’t give a rip about anything other than secular leftist nuttiness.
They were psycologically and sexually messed up and it showed – the disgrace was that they were protected and allowed to teach.

I was flying to Central America last weekend and in all the airport news outlets the MSM, especially CNN was constantly harping on McCain’s so called flawed pastors and their endorsements, trying desperately to sway public opinion against McCain and counter Obambi’s problems. Trying to make a moral equivalance to Wright & Pfagmouth. Now this flap must really be making the editors in the MSM frantic as it unravels all their hard propaganda. I love it! I don’t know Pfleger personally, so don’t know for sure if this applies to him, but there are people in the world who make a god out of being liked, and live for the approval of others. They like to make speeches or talk a lot in meetings or at barbecues and be stroked and get positive feedback all the time. These people (I’ve known several) feel an extraordinary, almost literally unbearable level of emotional pain if they ever get a lot of disapproval directed at them.

In any case, whether that’s true of Pfleger or not, I’d bet a lot of money that Pfleger hasn’t had this much anger directed at him in a very long time.

Plus, the sooner the IRS pulls the tax exempt status of churches like TUCC, the better off America will be. I love how he says that the economy is shakey and “unemployment is so bad…” And all of those morons eat it up and have no clue that unemployment has remained historically low and he’s flat out lying to all of them.

Of course, why would they care about that? He’s mocking them with the very way he talks throughout. It’s disgusting, and anyone who is sitting there ought to be ashamed of themselves (not that they shouldn’t have been already).

This is all too unbelievable. Not a day goes by that one of these “Reverends”, “This Priest” and a wannabe President doesn’t come out with the most outlandish statements.
How this guy is a priest is amazing. The self appointed Reverends I can understand— spewing whatever they feel like, because no one is in charge of them. But this “Priest” is obvious not in his right mind. Even as a human being he is not a good person. He is the total opposite of what a Priest should be. He is not a represention of Jesus. A decent person, especially a Priest, is at the pulpit cursing, bad mouthing people, exhibiting racism. The Bible says that “God is love”. I beg the Catholic Church to defrock him.
What comes out of his mouth is more fit for Jerry Springer, not a church. God help us if it is true that when some say that many black churches are this way.

I’m all for a good joke myself, except in such cases that it can be used against us. We’re fighting an insurgency of ideas, so to speak. Every time we use such tactics in the open, the other side picks them up, posts them on their blogs and rally more folks against us.
For example, how many times has Michelle, with the intent of showing how hateful the other side is, posted emails she’s received from folks who use nothing but name calling and vulgarity? Our opponent does the same with us.
This is not to say we have to continually sound like a dry philosophy textbook when we speak. There’s plenty of other comedic tools we can use, such as irony, sarcasm to a degree, showing the logical conclusion of some liberal ideas (which is pretty funny at times you have to admit), etc. I’m interested to see what people think about this.
