I wonder if Obama could name the Presidents whose images are on Mount Rushmore.

If Obama is really interested in movies about Mount Rushmore, there was a 2007 Disney movie called “National Treasure” which tells a story of a supposed connection between John Wilkes Booth (Abraham Lincoln’s assassin) and a huge treasure buried near Mount Rushmore. Of course, this is a DISNEY movie, but maybe somebody should ask Obama whether he will refund the Mount Rushmore treasure to the taxpayers.

No matter what happens the Democrats can’t back away from Obamasiah now so they will just ignore his unexperience and total lack of qulaifications for the job…You can thank this on liberals taking over the education system and teaching kids that they never lose or do badly, they are all just as smart and bright etc., they just express it differently. Liberals teach kids that being smart and getting good grades shouldn’t be highlighted and singled out as an acomplishment because it might upset the kids who for whatever reason didn’t\don’t shine… This is why Obama thinks he’s qualified to run for president…having never accomplished anything which would have put him in the realm… I hope he doesn’t win or we will become the late great US… Oh and don’t get me started on his wife…talk about bitter and angry…

You know, the more I think about what Obama said at Mt. Rushmore, the more I think it shows his complete narcissism. This man who has the gall to run for president when he has done nothing nor accomplished nothing other than giving a speech at the Democratic National Committee now thinks he should be on Mt. Although it is not impossible to imagine that something was shot on location, it’s pretty damn impossible to believe it if you have seen this film.

I see the “gaffe” (i.e. a laughable “oops” stupidity, not one of Obama’s displays of poor judgement and lack of principles) being Obama depending on one of his inexperienced handlers feeding him “info for the locals” which backfired in this instance.

I am not ignorant nor am I deluded. Would you mind explaining to me where the gaffe is here?

Why is it so impossible to imagine a pre CGI-era movie was shot on location? …especially considering the fact that Hitchcock actually tried to get approval to shoot it there.

Come on, Ed, you’re going a little overboard on this one. Thinking that perhaps North by Northwest’s Rushmore scene was filmed on location is hardly a gaffe; it isn’t unreasonable to think that a movie made in the 1950–before extensive special effects technology–would have been shot on site.
