His former boss if leaving office in less than 8 months; whoever is going to take his place sure isn’t going to offer McClellan a new job; and if he thinks this is going to gain him some sort of job with some news service, lots of luck with that. The publisher got to him. They had an opportunity to use his name and rewrite his manuscript to the Soros specifications. Sounds like he was trying to sell something with no or little value, so this way he could make some money by letting them have their way with him. He’s just a whore,…but, now he’s a famous one.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the Federal Governmet, including FEMA, performed very well during Katrina. The one exception being the media response people.

I should say it is hallmark of this Adminstration that it gets the job done without the constant need to tell the world. From a political and PR perspective this is not good.

I recall one example – While everyone was prattling on about the need to sign the flawed Kyoto treaty to stop Global warming, a treaty which excluded major contributors, India and China, the Administration went in a different direction. Without fanfare they negotiated a new agreement between the United States, Australia, India, China and South Korea to commercially develop technology to reduce damaging greenhouse gas emissions. Since then further countries have been added.

I wonder if it was the mental image of Obama in tight fitting jeans that tipped him over the edge…..
