The part where he’s lying.

Probably what he knows about the “leak episode” that is in the book. Either that or the intel declassification thing.

Whatever.

manwithblackhat on May 30, 2008 at 10:07 PM

So the POTUS cannot declassify anythiing now? Is this tool upset that he was misled by the prosecution that Armitage “leaked” the info?

aikidoka on May 30, 2008 at 10:08 PM

Will someone tell me how it is possible for the president to “secretly” declassify something? Scott, you’re such a tool.

Why is declassifying bad again, Mr. I Got Disillusioned?

Disillusionment is a pretty lame excuse – Hi, I would like to insult my own perception and intellect. Thanks!

On a serious note, I do think he will regret publishing such tripe. You can’t pull your friends out from the under the bus after you throw them there. Even if the bus is an ‘illusion’.

But it plays into the left’s (and Alex Jones, but I repeat myself) mantra about Bush being an evil genius. The force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded. Which just goes to show how confused they really are; we all know Cheney is the dark Jedi.

Spirit of 1776 on May 30, 2008 at 10:24 PM

Bush hired this dullard. Bush promoted him. Bush kept him in the job long after it was obvious he was completely incompetent. Bush allowed him to be the face of the administrations and by extension, the face of the GOP. Bush deserves everything he’s getting from this back stabbing moron.

TheBigOldDog on May 30, 2008 at 10:24 PM

The most important lesson from the Bush Administration is not to hire based on “loyalty” or “connections” but to hire the very best people for the job you can find, closely monitor their performance and be prepared to replace them quickly when they don’t perform. That way, the chances someone like SM can do damage both during and after their tenure is greatly limited.

Everthing Scott is claiming is dead on arrival, its bullshit!

Irag was a danger!
-Reagan knew it!
-Bush Sr.knew it!
-Bill Clinton,Hillary,Al Gore,Madame Albright,Janet Reno,
Steppanophlis, they all knew it during the Clinton’s talking
points term.
-President G,Bush knows it.

Every country knew it,or tell me Scott, all the country’s
with their own intelligence gathering must be liars as well!

Saddams jets, the ones that escaped are sitting on Irans
tarmac’s,Syria most likely has the WMD,and their was proof
on the ground of traces in ordanace shells as an example!

And by the way Scott,America got sick and tired of Saddam
not complying with the UN resolutions, and playing cat and
mouse in the no fly zones!

It really does get irrating to hear the same crap over and
over about the Bush Administration!

Liberal’s from the get go were going to doom Bush’s progress
because of their bitterness of Clinton’s besmirching and
debauchery of their party!

You would really think that Liberals by now got their quart
or gallon of blood from President Bush, even tho it was the
Lib’s that have defended Slick Willy who has,I might add
destroyed,single-handedly the Liberal Party!

Good Lord,when does this end!

McClellan’s douchebaggery knows no bounds.

The “final straw” was win he found out Bush declassified the NIE????? Moron…he’s the Commander in Chief. If he thinks it’s ok to declassify something…THEN THAT INFO IS NO LONGER CLASSIFIED. As President, you have every right to declassify something. And he was upfront & honest about declassifying it.

As for Iraq, here’s just a partial list of non-Republicans who openly spoke about the threat Saddam’s WMD posed:

Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Madeline Albright, Nancy Pelosi, John Edwards, John Kerry, the United Nations Security Council, the British government, the Egyptian government, the Jordanian government, the French, the Russians, the Germans, Ted Kennedy, SADDAM HUSSEIN’S OWN GENERALS, intelligence agencies all over the world, etc….

I could go on forever.

The press-flak industry kind of went flat for him when he a) sucked at what he did, and
b) got fired by the administration.

This will be a glimpse of his future when
a) the crowd that buys up DC scandal books about Bush loses interest in three or four more days, and
b) no one wants his shitty little book anymore,
c) no one wants to hire a short, fat, balding snitch from the Bush administration. Conservatives – done. Liberals – bitchy and vindictive. They’ll invite him to a few of their dinner parties to hear him make up silly lies about Karl Rove, and then – done. They’ll laugh at his ugly ties.

I found a related article, written from a different viewpoint,

Bill O’Reilly on “Judas” Scott McClellan

which is presented alongside this video clip

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXjP72T0HKI

For Bill O’Reilly, the “radical left” is taking advantage of “Judas” Scott McClellan. And what is the far left, according to O’Reilly? MSNBC, the corporate media empire jointly owned by Microsoft and NBC, the latter owned by General Electric, the death merchant that donated $1.1 million to Bush for his 2000 election campaign, that is to say the neocon coup. Is Bill O’Reilly an idiot? No, he is a smooth operator, simply fanning the fake left-right paradigm flames as we move toward the nomination and potential presidential anointment of the “liberal” Barack Obama. McClellan’s supposed tell-all appears at precisely at the time the Democrats are positioned to take over in Washington, a shuffling of the same old fetid deck.

While watching O’Reilly’s clownish segment here, it is wise to keep in mind the following, issued by the CFR’s historian and Bill Clinton’s teacher, Carroll Quigley (from his “Tragedy and Hope”, 1966, p. 1247-48): “”The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps of the Right, and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy… But either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same policies.”

Bill O gets paid mightily to make you believe otherwise.

Any guesses on how many people attended these meetings where, claims McClellan, the intelligence was manipulated?

I’m guessing that, including senior cabinet and sub-cabinet members along with representatives from the various agencies, we’re talking about dozens and dozens of people. Well over one hundred individuals. If we include all of the talks and meetings and conferences, several hundred?

Certainly not a handful.

And the only one who is upset at the “deception” is Scott McClellan? The then deputy press secretary for domestic matters?

Who until the past several months was strongly supportive of the war?

No one else? No one quit. No one resigned quietly. No one leaked to the NY Times. No one has come forth to buttress McClellan’s claims.

No one.

I’m going to need another source there Mr. McClellan.

Perhaps an editor might begin a reformation in some such way as this.

Divide his paper into four chapters, heading the 1st, Truths. 2nd, Probabilities. 3rd, Possibilities. 4th, Lies.

The first chapter would be very short, as it would contain little more than authentic papers and information from such sources as the editor would be willing to risk his own reputation for their truth.

The second would contain what, from a mature consideration of all circumstances, his judgment should conclude to be probably true. This, however, should rather contain too little than too much.

The third and fourth should be professedly for those readers who would rather have lies for their money than the blank paper they would occupy.

Look I thought we should have gone to Baghdad in ’91 and so I agreed with going based on the Saddam’s abrogation of the UN resolution that ended the hostilities. Having said that, I agree with McClellan because that is what I thought at the time and I was pleased. It was oversold and propagandized but if I was taking the American People to war I would attempt to unite them as well. It was only oversold because Saddam moved the WMDs out of Irag. I thought we should have gone in simply on the basis of violation of the terms of surrender.

The White House also doesn’t deny holding captive space aliens in a secret moon base.

“Plamegate” was a fraud. “Memogate” was a fraud. But the majority of the left are going to go to their graves believing in some vast conspiracy surrounding them, because to admit otherwise would be to chip away at the foundations of the paranoia that keeps them warm at night.

What the hell is a secret declassification.

One half of a double secret declassification.

There once was a chap named McClellan.
Whose love for Barack caused a swellin’.
So he sold out his friends.
With the left made amends.
But remember, no askin’, no tellin’.

Hey, we all know that only the New York Times and WaPo are allowed to declassify intelligence.

What gets me is that when he worked in the WH, the libs didn’t believe a word he said. Now that he’s not, they believe every word he says.

History will judge him and his type as wanting.

But while these people seemed to be more
worried of a political win,its 1939, and
with Iran, theres going to be WW2 deja vu
all over again,a la Iran racing for da bomb!

And the real enemy has a very sharp axe! :)

Correct, and as Ann Coulter pointed out, he was an idiot until this book was published, but now he’s a genius.

So McClellan says there was contradictory intelligence? Is that because he was given the intelligence reports to make his own conclusions, or did his boss just tell him that? I doubt either one was true. In fact, I don’t recall any contradictory intelligence. The problem was in the veracity of the available intelligence or the lack of contradictory intelligence. Personally, I think McClellan is a self-serving liar who came to his present revelations because it was the only way he could sell his book.

Scottie McClellan is sending out this oldie dedicated to George Soros and his DNC pals with their media enablers:

Wanna Testify

Band & Bodyworks

George Clinton and Daron Taylor
©1967, 1977 Groovesville Music.

Friends, inquisitive friends
Are asking what’s come over me
A change, there’s been a change
And it’s oh so plain to see
Now it was just a little while ago
My life was incomplete
I was down so low
I had to look up at my feet

I just want to testify what your love has done for me
Oh, I just want to testify what your love had done for me
Ooooh luscious, sure been delicious to me
Ooooh luscious, sure been delicious to me
Ooooh luscious, sure been delicious to me
Ooooh luscious, sure been delicious to me

Once I was a hollow man
In which a lonely heart did dwell
Then love came sneakin’ in upon me
Bringin’ light to an empty shell

Love just walked in on me
And it’s taken me by surprise
There’s happiness around me
You can see it in my eyes
Now I’ve heard so many time before
That your love can be so bad
I just want to tell you people
It’s the best love I ever had

I just want to testify what your love has done for me
Oh, I just want to testify what your love has done for me

Odd enough, while he had his White House job, McClellan never bothered taking any coaching lessons on how to face a camera and speak clearly. Note how his tongue now manages a seductive delivery given direct supervision from satanist Soros.

McCarthy’s point that Communists have infiltrated our government needs the updated spot light to focus on our contemporary robber barons who divide to defeat America in the ironic name of hope, change, and INTRIGUE.

It is official, communism at its finest, state funded official propaganda is on its own perpetual campain conducting a Sherman’s March through the Bush Presidency. Last night PBS interviews authors whose newly released books substantiate Scott McClellan’s story that in turn substantiates their books. Propaganda to revise reality is coordinated across the entire MSM board. It is a level playing field; whatever structures exist in reality are leveled by a unison chorus from the imposters’ Joshua’s horn; authors, publishing houses, televised blanket media, NY know-better-than-anyone-else-bodies, and Hollywood bringing up the rear.

So all the more credit is due Bob Dole, who owes absolutely nothing to the Bush family, for standing up and proving again how his greatest generation won their war against Fascism and finally conquered Communism’s grip in Europe. Dole’s message hit the bull’s eye. BRAVO!
