Good news: Totally convincing alien captured on tape

posted at 5:50 pm on May 30, 2008 by Allahpundit

Drudge had the link yesterday so it must be true. The tape reportedly runs three minutes, but alas, the screening was limited to reporters — for real, not in a Mike Huckabee “limited to reporters, but feel free to videotape it yourselves” sort of way. All we have to go on is the screencap … and, perhaps, this curious clip, which obviously isn’t from the same shot as the ‘cap but appeared on YouTube this very day and does bear some striking similarities.

Dude, I think it’s real.

This looks worse than Doctor Who circa 1965. Can anyone say cheap cameras and a mask from Party City?

koolbrease on May 30, 2008 at 10:37 PM

I peak in a window like that and I’m arrested and hauled off to jail. Some illegal alien does it and everyone oohs and ahhs.

God, it sucks to be a white, male earthling.

Potfry on May 30, 2008 at 10:46 PM

In don’t know but it kinda funny. I’ve had my video camera set up and taping out the window now for 12 years and never caught as much as a moth.

So he was down on the ground and then rose up perfectly erect. What, did he drop his (very large) contact? When he left he decided to slide away to his left without turning? Uh, I don’t think so.

And, the you-tube video is a “copycat” video.

Cant see a fookin thing on this vid. I call Bull Honkery.

Whatever we’re supposed to see here it sure aint no Chupacabra, yo.

Mike D. on May 31, 2008 at 2:51 AM

If you look at the still photo released at the press conference, you’ll note the window has no lattice. The video shown on Youtube shows a different window, one with a lattice, so it’s not the same. The Youtube video is hardly convincing. It will be interesting to see what the other one looks like. Hopefully, it won’t be another “alien autopsy” fraud.

NNtrancer on May 31, 2008 at 5:45 AM

Why waste precoius bandwidth with this crap, please stick to actual news stories

Ltmousseman on May 31, 2008 at 6:53 AM

Listen closely. You can hear it asking:

“Is this the window where I get my tickets to that new rock group Hope & Change?

Yoop on May 31, 2008 at 8:31 AM

That spooked me! At first glance, I thought it was Alan Colmes!

evenkeel on May 31, 2008 at 8:41 AM

People chill out – The youtube video isn’t the real deal, it was just a recreation by a group of UFO skeptics to show how easily that the footage shown at the press conference could have been faked.

I see no reason why there isnt intelligent life out in the universe. God knows there’s not much here on earth, so it has to be someplace.

You nailed it.

He’ll make a little cash off this charade, get his ego stroked a bit by awestruck Troofers, and feel just a tiny bit better about his miserable ordinary life.

At least until that 15 minutes of fame prescription for those afflicted by chronic low self esteem wears off (and the bank account hits critical depletion levels).

Then the next “amazing proof of existence” video will get churned out.
