It’s never right to push your mother or grandmother under the bus. The women’s libbers of the ’60s were not anti-war demonstrators so much as they were WWII vet wives who’d been dumped for newer models after bearing their husband’s children and reaching the age of 40. THESE aging democrat women are NOT the Code Pink losers. Do not be so stupid as to compare those two populations merely because they are both comprised of female Democrats. However, these aging democrat women’s children WERE the anti-war protesters of the ’60s; and those anti-war demonstrators are the very politicians in the DNC who are throwing their mothers under the bus. As Obama does, so does the DNC. Despite 50 years of service to the Democrat Party, these aging women who are avid voters have been disenfranchised by their children. There is no karmatic excuse for bagging your mom and tossing her into the river because she wouldn’t just go along.

So give Ferraro her microphone and let her have her say. Although she didn’t suffer as her constituents did all those years as her life was privileged, none the less, Ferraro has consistently represented her constituents, the wives of WWII vets and their daughters. More power to her; she has the balls to confront the bullies in her party.

The DNC needs a house cleaning, anyway. The odd thing is that for all of the equal rights that white women fought for on behalf of blacks and all American minorities, there’s no gratitude for the woman. Michelle Obama has a special place in mind for older white women. And Ferraro ain’t going there without a cat fight. This is as close to NASCAR as one could wish for in the race to the White House. We’re witnessing where equal rights draw the lanes for traffic that will eventually affect the GOP as popular dynamics go.

So I get a kick out of Ferraro not caving in to roll on over for Obama’s master. She has the right to bitch and moan, having served the DNC longer than her opponents.

Here supporters are a disgusting bunch or ravel rousing nitwits who blame men for all the ills in the world, what a bunch of freaks.

I wonder how many racist friends or family members the average Republican person has. Hmm. It really doesn’t matter though, because every Republican shares a party with people who are avowed and confirmed racists. I’ve never heard of any Republican suggesting that we purge ourselves of the racists in our midst.

I’m waiting for the entire party to denounce and reject itself. Baby steps; I’ll start.

I get a kick out of hearing Ferraro rev her engine, daring Berry to take her on mano e mano at the race track.

I am sure part of this is the Democratic party’s utilization of identity politics as a political organizing tool for short term goals; but realize that this has become institutionalized. It is not just the Democratic Party, but many of its supporters who understand this. There is a well entrenched, well organized ‘diversity industry” which understands that if it admits that there has been change, it is out of business. See the recent remark by Evelyn Hu-DeHart, quoted in the recent issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education. Dr. Hu-Dehart is the intellectual who hired Ward Churchill at the University of Colorado; she is now bringing her diversity process to Brown University.

The national dialog on race that Obama talks about would probably accomplish more if the professional race hustlers like Jackson, Sharpton and Wright; the professional gender hustlers at NOW and NARAL; the diversity bigots like Hu-DeHart; and the Marxist fools like Ayers, Davis, and Dohrn were all given no publicity, and sent to the obscurity their ill-conceived theories deserve. I don’t look for that to happen any time soon. Which I why I will vote for McCain,and support Republican candidates in my local and state elections. I’m tired of the silly nostrums offered by the graying flower children who keep spouting discredited slogans and tired identity agitprop.

Ever get into argument with one of them about anything.. like Iraq or the Budget… they spend all their time loking to blame things on people.. They spend ZERO time looking forward or for solutions.

Now That was sexist.
