During the ‘06 debates, I watched Casey drop-jawed. He sounded and looked like he was drunk.

He’s a complete nonentity. The Scranton hillside ads for Obama were the most I’d seen of him on TV since the election. Apart from bending over backwards to call ACORN a respectable organization worthy of federal funds to conduct housing counseling, he’s done nothing of note.

We in PA could train a King Charles Spaniel to do this preening mediocrity’s job.

In spite of the MSM worship and the general cult trappings I think we are very lucky that Obama appears to be the nominee. I don’t see any realistic way he can win unless McCain commits a really major “screw up”. As the election gets closer Obama will continue to misspeak and demonstrate both his total lack of experience and his very thin skin. If the Dems really wanted to win they would try Webb teamed with one of the “Blue Dogs”. That ticket would win in a landslide but they are either to dumb or to far left to consider it.
