yes. why is it so hard to even attempt the correct pronunciation? especially someone who spent 16 months there!

it detracts from the message because it makes her sound like a hick. a shame, because the message is an important one.

This guy scares me. One one hand, I can see a resurgence of American pride after his term, just like the Reagan revolution. On the other, can we really afford for him to be in office?

Gen P. is one of the most engagin officers I have ever met, he is on par with ADM Stavrides or VADM Stockdale for you squiddies out there. Burning intelligence, drive and grit.

If I could hand the Army over to him and let him run wild I would.

And I care far less about how she pronounces the name of the country than what she does in that country while wearing that uniform.

Face it, we owe this woman a “hats off” on several levels.

Seems like there is quite a bit more to SPC Kate Norley than meets the eye. In good way, that is.

At :15 she says the civil war in Iraq has ended. When did we agree with NBC that there was a civil war?

But it was short lived.

I say EYE-rack too, so what? It doesn’t mean I know less about it than somebody who pronounces it the British way. Anybody who’s ever been there knows more about it than I do regardless of how they say it because I’ve never been. Experience. THAT’S what makes you knowledgable, not which syllable you emphasis.

Not surprisingly, a dirty bomb or a biological attack from Al-Qaeda on the Homeland maybe can wake people up, if not too late.

I guarantee if we are attacked Obama will make Bush look like he was asleep during the past 8 years in violating peoples rights. (I don’t believe Bush has, but using their claim to illustrate a point)

One thing I know about liberals, they will surrender everything for safety. Oh, they got pissed off over the feds listening in on calls made by AQ into America, but If Obama gets into power and an attack happens you wont be able to call Dominos and order a pizza without being listened in on.

I really like McCain’s suggestion that they both go to Iraq together. Obama has no choice, he has to meet with someone, or else he appears elitist.
