How come these women are out working in a factory around men they are not related to? I thought that was a big no no. I mean they might be seen by men or worse yet a man might speak to them.

Also I thought they just had to be covered up. Doesn’t the uniform cover them completely? Can’t they just wear a ski mask or something like that to cover their face and hair. It is Minnesota, I’m sure you could find a ski mask there.

Or is there really more to their reasoning? /sarc

Thanks for not being cowed into submission by people who are wearing a religious chip on their shoulder. It’s funny how they appeal for their rights so quickly. I wonder what reaction you would get if you appealed to rights of liberty in Iran? They would laugh in your face just before punishing you for being impertinent.

Thank the Lord we have religious liberty here in America. These muslim women can live in freedom any way they please, but that right does not extend to imposing their practices on others. Good for you for standing on principle!

Once again, I didn’t read all the posts but I’ll take the shot anyway. It’s called “SARIA CREAP”.

Does anybody really see this or am I talking to the wall.
You can get a big kick out of the absurdity of the various claims but “they”, ever so often, too often in my view, make a serious hit on OUR way of life.

that small percentage of Somali immigrants wants the entire community to bend to their rules rather than assimilate into American culture — and they want the courts to enforce their rules as well.

Ugh its so irritating. A few of my local grocery stores have begun to offer KOSHER foods because the small jewish population in the neighborhood keeps demanding it. If you’re a minority and don’t feel the same as WASP’s GET OVER IT!

Someone should form a Hasidic version of CAIR to follow closely behind rulings for CAIR and use them as a precedent for their own special laws. You know, immunity from hair-net regulations or something. I wonder what they would do when they find out they are helping Jews.

If other employees are required to wear uniforms, then all employees should wear uniforms, especially in areas where injuries or contamination could occur.

Why give them "especially"? If they are required to wear uniforms, they are required to wear uniforms. PERIOD. End of story.

For the best tasting flour tortillas, heat a small skillet
and place a pat of butter in it and cook the tortilla on
both sides in the sizzlin’ butter. Don’t let the tortilla
get crispy. As soon as the tortilla “fluffs up”, turn it
over and heat the remaining side. Keep repeating with the
rest of the tortillas, stacking them as they are done on
a paper towel lined plate. Fill them with your favorite
recipe. I prefer sauteed ground beef (spiced with cumin,
chili powder, onions, bell pepper, worscestershire) and topped with sharp cheese, lettuce, chopped tomato, and
red salsa.

I’m waiting for the first CAIR sponsored lawsuit on behalf of a Muslim brewery worker who doesn’t want to work with beer.

I’m sure it’s coming. People need to choose their poison once and for all. If the employer is responsible for the people’s safety, they should have rights to enforce some sort of rules.

The uniform requirement is usually disclosed during the interview and hiring process. The people must have accepted the jobs knowing that requirementj hence they purposely took the job to challenge the requirement with the intent to file a lawsuit. CAIR was probably involved from the beginning by directing them where to apply for a job knowing what would happen.
