Further, I think that many who vow to stay home this November, or who refuse to vote against the disaster that would be an Obambi presidency (enabled and enabling a dem trifecta with an all too willing congress), are similarly surrendering.

I’d prefer to fight McC than be at the mercy of a dem trifecta headed by either Obambi or Billary.

I have very little faith in the concept and belief that only by allowing the U.S.A. to descend into chaos will our mahdi-like Conservative Savior rise from the ashes and save us all from liberalism and marxism run rampant.

I just don’t think it will happen that way.

The corollary to this is that we reward the “hawks” in regimes with our aggressive policies.

If we establish rapprochement with these adversaries, the “liberals” (in Iran, for example) will be able to defeat the radical/hawkish mullahs.

Well, the argument can be made (I don’t buy it) that by removing (at least superficially) the US as the enemy, rogue regimes can’t continue to use (well they can; but it rings hollow) the US as an enemy justifying their power and rule.

Why wouldn’t any rogue regime prefer a guy who’s willing to meet with them?

Well, the argument can be made (I don’t buy it) that by removing (at least superficially) the US as the enemy, rogue regimes can’t continue to use (well they can; but it rings hollow) the US as an enemy justifying their power and rule.

In Castro’s case, of course, he has to use the “Americans are coming to invade” in order to excuse the horrific failures of his government. Along with the suppression of dissent; since all dissenters are either CIA agents or helping to reinstate the dreaded Fulgencio Batista regime.

It’s not an entirely untenable argument.
