Unless these tapes actually surface, I’m considering them a smear from an increasingly desperate band of Hillary Clinton supporters. Michelle Obama says enough during campaign appearances to merit criticism without indulging in paranoid fantasies.

We had talked about this not long ago, baldi, and it’s getting more and more noticeable. I’m in the South right now and all I know is that there will be a lot of crying in Nov. I still insist that the Obamas will set race relations back by quite a bit. It wasn’t necessary. He could have run on a true race-menging platform, but they chose not to, Change, Hope, Unity, and Yes We Can ra, ra, ra, notwithstanding.

It became transparent soon enough and crystalized with Michelle’s speeches, and the Rev. Wright’s revelations. It’s really very, very sad, because the Blacks, the Whites, and the country deserve way better.

I wrote Morgan a note about it. What show was it on?

One more thing about discussing Obama with black people: I learned from being Republican While Black for the last ten years that I can’t discuss every political topic with everybody–including family. The only people I can talk about anything political to are Mom, Step-Dad, American sisters, one brother-in-law and boyfriend. With everyone else–of any race–I wait for a topical opening. Just a suggestion.
