2. those who aren’t thrilled with McCain as nominee, who prefer Huckabee (either as veep, or in that prophetic senario, ontop of thhe ticket). This is a vocal but not a large group.

3. those who aren’t thrilled with McCain as a nominee, who see a Huckabee pick as the only way things could get any worse on the GOP ticket and make the 2008 election a disaster of Ragnarok proportions. This is the bulk of the commentariat.

Until Maverick picks a veep, the primaries ain’t over. so on we argue.

In some ways, it already has.

There is a definitely a contingent of Demoncrats who post here.

Neocons, I know you’re out there…many of you are in hiding for all the stigma attached to your identity. Huck IS your man. Why? Send Huck to a Muslim country on a speech tour, you’ll have a war within 5 minutes. McCain will be completely blameless; he had to go after the country that took his Veep hostage.
Think of it this way; there is a very high probability that McCain will be a one term wonder. I’d rather see Huck get tarred with that brush and have him out for any future races; he’s going to be nothing but a distraction and troublemaker for any real candidates that we’re able to find. If the GOP hopes to recover from the upcoming debacle in the House and Senate, we need to get rid of backbencher primadonnas like Huckabee.

If you don’t give warnings to people, this place will become like Daily Kos.
