We can be smart and complain about his policies and his character, but we really need to somehow start reaching his supporters. I don’t think most of them are behind him for policy reasons, they’re just basically in love with a man who speaks brilliantly, talks about change, and isn’t Bush. We need to get them to move past “not Bush,” and McCain needs to show them very plainly that he does not deserve the name McBush, which seems to be more popular all the time.
