Osama: I don’t like Arabs much, either

Osama bin Laden released another audio message through jihadist websites today, and he seems insistent on providing equal-opportunity hate. His earlier message vented spleen about the yahouds; today, Arabs are in Osama’s rhetorical sights. He castigates them as “sheep” and demands that they rise up and liberate Gaza from the, er, Arabs:
Osama bin Laden released a new message on Sunday accusing Arab leaders of sacrificing the Palestinians and calling on Muslim militants in Egypt to help break the blockade of Gaza.
Bin Laden called Arab leaders “agents of the crusaders” and “wolves” in the audio message posted on an Islamic militant Web site where al-Qaida leaders have issued past statements. He portrayed the citizens of Arab nations as herds of sheep who have been handed over to the wolves to look after them.
“Every day, the herd wishes the wolves would stop preying on it,” he said.
“Those (Arab) kings and leaders sacrificed Palestine and Al-Aqsa to keep their crowns. … But we will not be relieved of this responsibility,” bin Laden said.
The rest of the Arab world doesn’t really want a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It gives the leaders a convenient issue to misdirect the ire of their subjects in order to keep them from focusing on the true source of their misery, ie, the kleptocrats and the mullahcrats themselves. To that extent, Osama has at least some truth in this message, but if it took him this long to figure it out, he’s more of a dolt than anyone believed.
Osama called on Egyptian terrorists to “work on breaking this blockade” of Gaza. That sounds unusually explicit and could be a go-order for an attack on Egyptian Army posts on the southern border of Gaza. The next few days will tell whether Osama has an operation ready to launch, or is just whistling in the wind.

Very disappointing, he neglected to talk about any of the important stuff. Hey Osama who are you endorsing in the U.S. election?
Maxx on May 18, 2008 at 6:51 PM
Is the Obama call center clearly marked?

Why does it still say Obama in the link? >:D

So what’s next? Car bombs in Amman and Cairo?
Zorro on May 18, 2008 at 7:08 PM
No Obama endorsement? I waited all weekend for this? What a waste.
Vigilante on May 18, 2008 at 7:10 PM
It’s ok, Ted Kennedy did the same thing.
Zorro on May 18, 2008 at 7:10 PM
Sounds like a Democratic Presidential commercial to me……….

The one thing that most Arabs would desire for the Palestinians is that they stay the hell away from them. Wherever Palestinians go, it seems violence and trouble follow.

I could have sworn that this topic was titled, Obama: I don’t like Arabs much, either
What could I have been thinking? :oP

Osama’s really been downgraded to virtually a cranky non-entity by the western media in his recent pronouncements. After what happened in 2004, with bin Laden’s late “endorsement” of Kerry being considered as one of the factors that clinched Bush’s victory, they’re hell-bent in making sure he (or his Max Headroom-like handlers) don’t do that same thing by “helping” Barak Obama against McCain in the 2008 election.
So in the West, and especially in the U.S., his latest messages are treated as less and less important by the media, which is probably what they should have done 4-5 years ago. But back then , they treated the messages as oh-so important, even if they were believed to be faked, because they thought every new message further humiliated Bush and the Republicans.
As far as the campaign goes now, the presumption is talk is cheap, and the only use bin Laden has towards the greater cause in November is if he actually manages to send a secret signal to trigger another terrorist attack on American soil, which would then be spun as further humiliation of Bush, the Republicans in general and McCain in particular.

Editing the post, including the title of the post, apparently doesn’t change the link. That’s a good thing, by the way, because if anyone else has linked to the post, those links would all go dead.

Osama has enough hate to share with everyone…. cool.

That is the real story.

Osama gets the cold shoulder from the MSM because they fear Americans DO LINK OBAMA with Osama who will be totally neglected by the press in America. AGENDA.

Are the Egyptians our allies? I can never tell. Why do we give so much aid money to countries that hate us (and continue to hate us no matter how much we give)?
Is it like Pakistan in that what we are dealing with is bad but the alternative is worse?
Does anyone have a list of ME countries that genuienly like the U.S. and are our allies?

Umm,aren’t the Arabs just cannon fodder,
axle grease for the Persian Empire’s
attempt at a new Caliphate!
And,I thought that Arabs were considered 2nd
class citizens by Iranians!
If its true, don’t let the Liberals find out!
canopfor on May 18, 2008 at 9:08 PM
Nah. Read al Qaeda’s writings — he (and the Egyptians who dominate al Qaeda) have been saying stuff like this for years. They hate the secular Islamic rulers as much as they hate the Jews and the West.
Oh, heck. They just hate everyone. :)

It’s nice to see Osama has joined the species that eat their own young.
Rovin on May 18, 2008 at 9:16 PM
I think Osama just called the Arabs “clingy, bitter, gun huggers”.
AZCON on May 18, 2008 at 9:37 PM
But he didn’t say anything about bitterly clinging to religion.

Whoa, Osama’s not giving up his endorsement too quickly! He wants to see if Hillary’s going to pull something at the convention before he commits to a candidate. He’s gonna play it cool like most of the other super delegates.
clancy_wiggum on May 18, 2008 at 10:07 PM
I agree with this. With the exception of Iran and Syria the Middle East states have made their peace with Israel in private or public. Iran and Syria use the Palestinian as proxy against Israel with some Middle East states hopping the conflict won’t end anytime soon.

Asher on May 18, 2008 at 11:07 PM
LOL … I hadn’t thought of that, that’s it…. no doubt. Besides, the Democrats have been known to throw a little money your way for a big name endorsement, so it makes sense. Osama’s not as dumb as I thought.
Maxx on May 18, 2008 at 11:18 PM
Turn the hate within. That’s it, turn the hate within.
It’s a good typical democrat talking point

Osama’s real chatty for a dead guy.
LegendHasIt on May 18, 2008 at 11:57 PM
I don’t think there are any that actually likes us. A few, like Kuwait, Dubai / UAE, Jordan don’t hate us quite as much as the rest.
According to the Democrats…. EVERYONE hates us.

Israel.
One time a lefty told me the reason the US is big buddies with Israel and not with any of the other ME countries.
Racism: Jews are white, the rest of the ME is brown.
I laughed, I cried, and then tried to explain “Semite.” I’m pretty sure it bounced right off him. And this guy had a collidge degree.

misterpeasea–oh that’s sad…really sad!
Auralae on May 19, 2008 at 4:30 AM
Obama is out there complaining that Bush has not getten Osama. But sometimes I wonder if this is true. I know that people say this is the guy, his voice and all…but considering the fact that he has not popped his head out of his hidey hole in years I still wonder if maybe the guy is dead.
Terrye on May 19, 2008 at 6:59 AM
Possibly, a lot of folks forget that Ossama’s two primary hatreds were not only us, but also the House of Saud, and that’s a group of scumbags that contains active supporters of his wahabbist worldview, so what could possibly innoculate anyone from Capatain Caveman’s wrath? AQ tried to off Musharaff, even after he was kind enough to give them and the Taliban refuge and a wink and a nod regarding thier activities in the region. Doesn’t seem like gratitude to me, but maybe it’s a cultural thing, I dunno.
Point is, if he’s willing to target the world’s foremost exporters of millitant Islamic thought (The Saudis) and the only guy on Earth who was willing to provide him sanctuary after he had to lam in the wake of a NATO combined force, I wouldn’t put it past him to add the Jordanian royals, or the Mubarak, Assad, or Ghadafi regimes to his hit list.
One thing’s for sure though: if he’s going to start sending AQs to those places, he better send them with cyanide capsules in the event of capture, because the regimes in those countries think waterboarding is for sissies. To them, it’s not an interrogation session without a Sears DieHard and a pair of vice grips.

The Afghans I worked with in 2004 and 2005 believed that UBL was dead. I agree with them. He’s Purina Vulture Chow.

ME Countries that Like Us:
Israel
I think a few others like Jordan and UAE don’t absolutely hate us.
Though, are we talking about countries whose governments are friendly with the U.S. or whose people are friendly with the U.S.?
If we’re talking people instead of governments, I think we’ve got Israel and that’s it.
JadeNYU on May 19, 2008 at 5:12 PM
Don’t worry about Osama … he is dead. U.S. Govt will never acknowlege it. That way they can justify looking for him.
