First McCain, then Rove, now this. Just in time for the NRA convention, it’s Bittergate day in the Republican Party!

Slick ad
RobCon on May 16, 2008 at 7:18 PM
Very good ad. This is going to be a big problem for Obama. Many Democrats support the Second Amendment.
katieanne on May 16, 2008 at 7:24 PM
Huh. Maybe the RNC is gonna try to win back some donors. It’s a good ad.
funky chicken on May 16, 2008 at 7:24 PM
This add is well done and precisely defines Obama’s anti-gun agenda. This is the type of behavior that must be articulated to the voters. Obama is a die hard leftist/Marxist and it’s extremely important that this fact be driven home.
rplat on May 16, 2008 at 7:27 PM
Well done.
Mortis on May 16, 2008 at 7:31 PM
Excellent ad.
The right to bear arms is fundamental to preserving freedom from oppression.
onlineanalyst on May 16, 2008 at 7:34 PM
I guess the Republicans don’t feel like waiting til Hill drops out, huh?
jimmy the notable on May 16, 2008 at 7:39 PM
I smell a wee bit of co-ordination between Bush, Rove, Mccain, and the NRA.
And that boob Huckabee had to step in and blow it for everybody.
funky chicken on May 16, 2008 at 7:39 PM
Maybe they’re growing their testicles back. I’ll wait for said testicles to drop to put any confidence behind the RNC.
SouthernGent on May 16, 2008 at 7:41 PM
Is Enya an NRA member?

MirCat on May 16, 2008 at 7:42 PM
This is a good ad. It’s a fairly straightforward presentation of facts without any obvious distortion. It should be effective with Democrats who aren’t completely braindead.
Bugler on May 16, 2008 at 7:42 PM
This actually helps her. They bloody him up a little bit more, then she swoops in for an upset in Oregon!!
SouthernGent on May 16, 2008 at 7:43 PM
The GOP is getting better at attack. Now will give us something to cheer for?
frankj on May 16, 2008 at 7:54 PM
I bet Obama’s ducking for cover now because somebody is…
…Never mind.
Rhinoboy on May 16, 2008 at 7:55 PM
thry should have added in the Antipathy part.. >:D
Chakra Hammer on May 16, 2008 at 7:57 PM
HIS HANDWRITING IS ALL OVER IT! BWWHAHAHAHA!
Chakra Hammer on May 16, 2008 at 7:59 PM
I always wondered about Obama’s nuanced position on gun rights, considering how many of his supporters are packin’. Just sayin’.
fourstringfuror on May 16, 2008 at 8:03 PM
Finally, an ad fighting Obama hard, with vim and vigor. About freakin’ time.
RickZ on May 16, 2008 at 8:04 PM
Great ad.
Yakko77 on May 16, 2008 at 8:05 PM
It is a superb ad.
Still not voting for MexicCain, though.
HYTEAndy on May 16, 2008 at 8:05 PM
Good ad. Would love to ask Barry how he feels about the Texas home invasion law. We get to shoot em entering……and leaving.
Limerick on May 16, 2008 at 8:06 PM
People need to start donating to the GOP this is the 3rd ad that I have seen in the last month fighting hard.. would be nice to give them a little encouragement.
Chakra Hammer on May 16, 2008 at 8:07 PM
Tempting, but I’m still waiting to see who is the VP pick.
Limerick on May 16, 2008 at 8:08 PM
This NRA member is very happy with this ad!!!
Yakko77 on May 16, 2008 at 8:08 PM
I’m just stunned after not hearing from them for YEARS!
Chakra Hammer on May 16, 2008 at 8:09 PM
Great ad! Bring it on—he is SO not ready to lead a thing.
Let’s bring this guy down already!! There is so much on him, a school grader could make an anti-Obama ad.
We got the ammo-just do it!!
Conservatives R Us on May 16, 2008 at 8:10 PM
Hahahahahaha!! Good one, man!
Bugler on May 16, 2008 at 8:14 PM
Do you have to own a gun to celebrate Bittergate day, or is it enough if you’re just a Christian?
JeffC_95 on May 16, 2008 at 8:40 PM
It is a very good add. I couldn’t agree more. I love my Sig. :)
gator70 on May 16, 2008 at 8:43 PM
Out of touch, yet his signature is on da paper,
who does Obama thinks he is,Slick Willy of 92′!
I do like the hunting shots, and it looks like
she bagged a big turkey,I’m sure Obama never went
partridge hunting,oh and there’s more to hunting
then just guns, you walk an old logging road, and
talk to your son’s for hours, and if you bag a few
birds,ya thats a plus!
canopfor on May 16, 2008 at 8:50 PM
Very well done ad….clear, concise, to the point. They ‘may’ be trying to get their act together finally over at RNC, but I fear it is too little, too late.
dustoffmom on May 16, 2008 at 9:01 PM
How about not being racist?
You know the Antipathy part.
Chakra Hammer on May 16, 2008 at 9:38 PM
GA has the same law.
funky chicken on May 16, 2008 at 9:47 PM
Well, I suggest you go buy a weapon, just to make sure. I love my Ruger SP 101…great starter revolver, if they still make them.
funky chicken on May 16, 2008 at 9:49 PM
What? The guy voted most liberal senator in America isn’t going to be trustworthy on guns?
I’M SHOCKED. SHOCKED, I TELL YOU!
MadisonConservative on May 16, 2008 at 9:52 PM
I’ve been considering it. Maybe it will be my Bittergate Day present to myself. I can spend my wonderful tax refund on it.
JeffC_95 on May 16, 2008 at 10:15 PM
Yes, but will those six Democrat votes be enough to make a difference?
AZCoyote on May 16, 2008 at 10:20 PM
His record is chilling.
RushBaby on May 16, 2008 at 10:33 PM

cjs1943 on May 16, 2008 at 10:53 PM
Tax refund here shall go for a Combat Edition M1991 Colt .45
Stainless steel, black rubber hand grips.
And 96 rounds of .45 ACP
(Ok, so maybe a bit more than the refund… but I need to spend enough to fully satiate my bitterness).
knob on May 16, 2008 at 11:37 PM
Ditto.
Jaibones on May 16, 2008 at 11:57 PM
The money could be better spent making our own ads. Video cameras are cheap and windows comes with video editing software…
dogsoldier on May 17, 2008 at 12:03 AM
ad sucked. what’s with the 1950’s pictures of the hunters? Stupid. the 2nd amendment is not there to go hunting. Ad’s can teach not just attack. How about an ad for why the Rep party is FOR gun ownership? Attack ads will not win this race. watching this ad I find little faith that the rep understand why the 2nd amendment is there.
unseen on May 17, 2008 at 12:05 AM
The SP101 …
An excellent choice for concealable and personal protection.
Semi autos are good as an open carry side arm. Revolvers, however, have fewer moving parts and are much more reliable at close range (we’re talking arms length) when it comes to pulling a trigger. No safety to worry about, no hammer to cock, no nothing. Just pull it out and pull the trigger.
With a CHL, for concealablalty and reliability and, gosh darn it, feel good in the handability, the SP101 in either .357 mag or their new .327 mag is an excellent gun for carrying … in a shoulder holster, in your back pocket, in the console of your vehicle in … whatever.
Be sure to buy a gun and / or ammo with your tax refund … while you still can.
BowHuntingTexas on May 17, 2008 at 12:13 AM
Vote John McCain, at least he’s not Karl Marx.
bigbeas on May 17, 2008 at 1:17 AM
An attack ad?
Is every question about obama’s positions considered an attack by you libtards?
This is a Presidential election, not 6th grade class president.
ArmyAunt on May 17, 2008 at 1:20 AM
The best way to call into action someone who’s never met a liberal in person? Say “SAN FRANCISCO!” in a scary voice.
calbear on May 17, 2008 at 1:47 AM
Well that’s what he does, every time. There are some people you’d like to smack with a big ol’ slice of STFU. Huckaboob is at the very top of my list.
Now regarding the ad, it’s well done. Not extremely well done in my opinion, but it gets the job done well. I only wish McCain’s own ads could be this good…
steadyrock on May 17, 2008 at 2:14 AM
Sad some in this country needed an add to know he was anti.
tx2654 on May 17, 2008 at 6:35 AM
Makes this NRA member happy as well. Bravo Zulu!
Mooseman on May 17, 2008 at 9:02 AM
Good to see the RNC taking a strong stand, and making the case well, for a change. Nice job and keep it coming.
petefrt on May 17, 2008 at 10:06 AM
Very well done.
freevillage on May 17, 2008 at 10:34 AM
Nicely done, now what’s McCain’s record?
Maxx on May 17, 2008 at 10:57 AM
Great ad. I wonder how soon the RNC will cave when the Democrats start calling them “mean” and the ad “unacceptable” and “beyond the pale?”
William Teach on May 17, 2008 at 1:21 PM
Ditto.
bigbeas on May 17, 2008 at 5:22 PM
Good ad, now how bout one on Dems against drilling for oil anywhere, building refinerys anywhere or more nuclear power in these United States.
And one on not handing over my hard earned money for gorebal warming B.S.
Well, er, wait a minute there, where does our (McCain) nominee stand on those issues?
dhunter on May 17, 2008 at 6:36 PM
Slick ad but when has Obama threatened to take away anyone’s gun? The 2nd seems pretty safe during this election cycle… not sure why this is an issue.
lexhamfox on May 17, 2008 at 10:34 PM
I found it telling that when Barry Whosane talked to the folks in SanFransicko and when HRC spun her support for gun-toting, Bible thumpin’ mid-Americans they talked about hunters, not the millions that keep guns in their house or, gasp, carry a gun for protection. Everyone knows that the leftist POV doesn’t include self-defense.
I’d sick Ted Nugent on them but he always goes too far; I wonder tho…will HRC go to one of his gigs to show how much she likes them venison eaters?
