Only six more years until the youngest squid graduates from HS, and we are out of this sorry excuse of a state.

I grew up in NE Ohio, which is totally Democratic, but Minnesota is the most Socialist and clueless state I’ve lived in. Jesse Ventura? Puhleeze…that choice made Wisconsin look like a Republican Paradise. The fools in the DFL party here will stop at nothing until this state is Little Cuba – since they know better than you what is best for you and yours!

Oh, how I long for the days when I lived in Idaho!

I think his wife Franni is part of the corporation(s). It's worked for lots of others, so perhaps they'll be sending her out to sob on camera about how all these tax people are being so mean to her about simple, meaningless mistakes.

Franken is going to win. These people in MN are nuts. Just the other day, I saw again, a car with a Paul Wellstone bumper sticker on it. There are Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers everywhere.

I was going to bring that up(The Kerry/Edwards)thing…But I figured that was normal behavior for a Democrat..’Yeah,that’s right…I backed a looser and I’m damned proud of it’…I was thinking there might be some kind of market for an add-on sticker for these people…anyone have any ideas??

“You’re the media,” [Jesse] Ventura mouthed before taking a question from someone else….

He eventually talked about his plans anyway.
“Now you’re asking me to stop my latest quest, which is surfing,” he said when asked about running for office again.
Ventura told the crowd that “none of the above” would be a better choice than Norm Coleman or Al Franken.

“I may go down and file,” he added. “I will be ‘none of the above,’ and if I win, I’ll go to Washington.”

I will explain, because I am a DC area native who moved to the Godforsaken hellhole that is Minnesota, (no offense to fellow Minnesotans on this board as you all here are obviously the sane ones.) First of all, the DFL was the merger of the Farmer-Labor party, (which came out of the Socialist party – long story) and the Democrat party of Minnesota. They used to be 2 different parties, then they merged because they have so much in common. They are stil not the Democrat party – they are the Democrat Farmer-Labor or DFL party. Yes. It is a Scandinavian thing. Don’t ask me why a bunch of Scandinavians would come to the USA and take their socialism with them… free land? I don’t know. My Swedish grandma was one of those and I do not get why one would leave an already socialist country so they could come here and turn our country to crap, but…
As far as electing weirdos: Minnesotans have the worst inferiority complex I have ever seen any people have. They will always say something that they think will impress you like, “Ya know – the Foshay Tower was – at one time – da largest skyscraper west of the Mississippi.” … possibly for 2 years in the 1800′s that might have been true. Or, “Ya know, we had the largest ball of yarn in Mankato back in 1987.” and in your mind you go, “Who. F-ing. Cares?!” So they elect people like Keith Ellison because then they can go, “He’s da first Muslim elected to congress!” or they elect Jesse Ventura just to get attention. But make no mistake: this is no laughing matter and Al Douchebag Franken will, in fact, be our next Senator. Trust me. They will do it for the attention. They hate that others think of them as flyover country, they will do anything so they can get attention, and for God’s sake do not ever tell them they have an accent because they will deny it all day long, even though they do have an accent.

Remember Air America’s scheme a while back? They claimed they’d sold their company to new owners and that the new owners could not be held liable for any of the company’s previous debts. Except that the “new” owners were themselves. Air America’s investment partners sold the company back to themselves and tried to hide that fact from authorities. In legal terms, I believe it’s called fraudulent conveyance.

And Al Franken signed off on it. Michelle and Bryan Preston even posted a scan of the document with Franken’s signature.

How come that hasn’t come back to haunt Stuart Smalley?
