Alert the Media: John Gibson

posted at 4:56 pm on May 16, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

I’ll be making my first appearance on John Gibson’s radio show on Fox this afternoon, at 5:20 pm CT. We’ll be talking about the Barack Obama meltdown over appeasement this afternoon and John McCain’s response to it, plus anything else John wants to discuss. Listen in on the stream!

Update: I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.  John Gibson was certainly very generous with sharing the time, and I hope to return soon.

Make sure to tell Gibson that the White House has stated that Bush’s speech was not directed at Obama. He mentioned yesterday that he heard it was. White House just re-issued it in response to Obama’s meltdown.

Congrats, Ed! You’ll have fun, I’ll bet. Took me a while to warm up to John, but I’ve grown to really like him.

I’m clinging bitterly to Central Time.

I like John, he seems fair and seems to let people talk. Go for it Ed. I probably won’t get to listen, please let us know how it went.

I subscribed to Mr. Gibson’s podcast a couple of weeks ago. He does a great job.

You should’ve seen the looks of bewilderment on the faces of my in-laws from Philadelphia the first time they spent new year’s eve here in God’s time zone. It was priceless. “Wait, it isn’t midnight yet. Do we celebrate twice?”

Unless it was his female co host on Fox challenging Man Coulter, he shut her right up.

I’ve liked John since he was on MSNBC.
Right on Ed…I’m waiting to hear you with happy anticipation.

Ed, I’m a central time kinda guy as well. Really haven’t gotten use to eastern time.

So, where’s the audio archive? I missed it live.

I sure miss Gibson on Fox News. I seldom watch it anymore, except for Fox and Friends on week day mornings. When they hired Heather for Gibson’s show I suspected something was up.
