Al-Burack fell right into it. And the leftards call Bush an idiot?

If someone screams “Hey, Moron!” into a crowd of 100 people and you are the only one to say “What did you call me?!” you have nobody to blame but yourself.

What a moron. Talk about irony. Someone with the screename "Aristotle" is trying to say that all statements made in the political realm are exoteric. Can we please get his screename changed out of respect?

Mc attacks a little later…!

"This does bring up an issue that we will be discussing with the American people, and that is, why does Barrack Obama, Senator Obama, want to sit down with a state sponsor of terrorism?"

Then this….Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor said…

"It is the height of hypocrisy for John McCain to deliver a lofty speech about civility and bipartisanship in the morning and then embrace George Bush's disgraceful political attack in the afternoon. Instead of delivering meaningful change, John McCain wants to continue George Bush's irresponsible and failed Iran policy by refusing to engage in tough, direct diplomacy like Presidents from Kennedy to Reagan have done,"

Right on Tommy…!

I don't understand why were making nachos out of macaroni? Obama said he would talk to our rancorous enemey, since when does talking to the enemy equal appeasment, talking to the enemy can just as well equal negotions, it could just as well result in a nice chat, or a yelling match? By this line of reasoning that most of you all - everyone from the commenters, to the bloggers, to the news pundits - are suggesting that because "one" talks to the enemy they are appeasing them.

Therefore (let's go back in history and change a few things), when we talked to Libya, we appeased them; because we talk to North Korea, we appease them; we talked to the USSR, therein we appeased them; we talk to China, therefore we appease them (we literally give them 'things', while they pay us in-kind by blinding our satellites, hacking our systems, stealing our national/industry trade secrets, and giving us chemically enriched, completely useless, or completely hazardous products).

The argument is ridiculous, the fact that we Americans lack the ability to know the basic definitons of words is ridiculous (but if we Americans don't know it why should we ever expect our President too - representative democracy, ftw), and the fact that the President can't even stand on his own two feet in his own country and say those words - is ridiculous.

The question that should be asked is, whether or not Obama would appease terrorist? And/or would he appease enemy nation-states? Would he go about talking to any nation that decided to be bad? How would he select them? And on and on... Of course we could just take the McCain route of Foreign Policy where as President he is either your worst "nightmare," or best friend, no questions need be asked of that policy (sarcasm).

It's satisfying when you see Bush finally "man up" and defend his policies. He could be useful over the next six months if he would ditch the "turn the other cheek" crap that leaves his would be defenders demoralized.

The White House insists that Bush was "referring to a wide range of people, not any single person."

Sigh...

Just once, just once, I would like to see the President come back to the States, hold a press conference to address the Dems' hysterical indignation, and just nail them to the wall.

"You're damn right I was referring to Senator Obama, and the dangerously ignorant foreign policy proposals he's been shouting from the mountaintops. And I was also referring to Speaker Pelosi and her unauthorized trip to Syria, and Senator Biden, and Mr. Carter, and Senator Durbin, and Senator Kerry," and on down the list, along with the precise reason(s) for each one.

Can you picture that? The White House press corps. would literally be stunned into silence. Bush's approval numbers would jump at least 20 points.

But no, he's gotta take this "nonpartisan, apolitical" BS right to the end.

Sigh.

I took Bush’s statement to mean that an American Senator in 1939 said that quote about Hitler. If that is the case, I’d like to know who it was. Anyone know?

For all the weeping and wailing about President Bush daring to supposedly criticize Barry (though not by name) while on foreign soil, I haven't heard anyone on the left challenage the President about what he said.

Al-Burack fell right into it. And the leftards call Bush an idiot?

If someone screams “Hey, Moron!” into a crowd of 100 people and you are the only one to say “What did you call me?!” you have nobody to blame but yourself.

The road to peace does indeed go through Damascus. And on that road is a column of M-1 Abrams.

What he said.

We had 10 million+ people under arms in WW2, with an economy that was laughably tiny compared to the behemoth we have now. It makes me laugh to hear liberals whine how our military is "stretched thin." Well, let's see, it's stretched think because of BJ's peace dividend, your incessant trashing of all things military, and your unwillingness to pay for a bigger military.

OhBummer's idea of negotiation is to dazzle the opposition with bullshit, and if that doesn't work, he can flash the rocket in his pocket to show that he is a MAN of consequence.

Bush is playing with a weak hand - low approval ratings, a tired Administration and a hostile press.

No kidding. His low approval ratings are deserved, his Administration ought to retire to bed and... a hostile press?

And as well learned in Public Speaking 101, you tailor your message to the audience it’s intended for.

The Olmert Government know this being world-class bullsh*tters themselves but I doubt it'll make them sleep any better.

Leave it to Dingy Harry Reid to weigh in:

Washington, DC—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid made the following statement today in response to President Bush’s remarks before the Israeli Knesset:

“Not surprisingly, the engineer of the worst foreign policy in our nation’s history has fired yet another reckless and reprehensible round. More than seven years into his Presidency and in the sixth year of the directionless Iraq war, President Bush has yet to learn that his brand of divisive partisan rhetoric is precisely what has made America and our allies less secure. And for the President to make this statement before the government of our closest ally as it celebrates a remarkable milestone demeans this historic moment with partisan politics.
