If I were a Taliban or Al Qaeda boss hiding out in the Northwest Territories of Pakistan, I’d be feeling a bit jumpy at this point. These are by no means the first Islamofascists we’ve taken out by Predator & Hellfire.

These strikes are more akin to the V-2 rocket strikes that hit London in WW2, as opposed to the V-1 “buzz-bomb” strikes. No aircraft engine noise like the buzz of the V-1 motor. Just like with the V-2, all you know is the sound of the large explosion…if you’re not the target and thereby get to hear it, that is.
