Sorry but she doesn’t strike me as a woman who responds to politeness (probably views it as weakness). If she were she wouldn’t have behaved in the manner that she did in the first place.

I won’t watch basketball until they are allowed to check. Hockey players will get 10 stitches to the face and still come back next period to take finish the opposing team off!

Last month I went to a Nuggets game on Saturday, followed by an Avalanche game on Sunday. I’ll tell you what, it was night and day, basketball has become thuggish and full of (c)rap.

Hockey is very respectful, even when they fight.

It is boring though, not sure why this is on Hot Air.

I looked at it again and saw that she hit Garnett. Had he hit her back, Lebron would have been forced to retaliate. This is how women can be a detriment to the men in their lives. Yes, I said it.

Which makes it all the more amazing that LeBron appears to have turned out as a such a centered, well-behaved athlete (minus the fugly tattoos, of course).

The alternative is that the defender and the guy going in to the hoop meet in mid-air and end up hitting the floor hard.

Personally, I think the NBA looks ridiculous because half the players can’t shoot a jump shot anymore. Maybe more than half, I’ve only seen a few games this year, but…wow.

I took fencing in high school. At the start of the year, our coach explained the dangers of fencing. More people are killed every year playing golf.

You are absolutely right, of course, I just think it quite unlikely that the Celtics will never lose at home either. And generally teams that go a full series, which is necessary if you don’t get road wins, end up losing to more rested teams as the playoffs go on. I’d be happy to be wrong, it’s just my general impression that it’s a bad sign for a team so good in the regular season.

Rudy never recovered as a player, and Kermit lived with that for the rest of his career.

How do you figure this? All the Celtics have to do is never lose at home and the championship is theirs. They wouldn’t be the first team in history to do that.
