Another name might stick on on the ICG board of directors. That is Ken Adelamn as in PNAC co-signor Kenneth Adelman. ICG is about money. Nothing more, nothing less. The only thing I know with better board members than ICG are the various Chamber of Commerce committees for each country. If you want to do business in other countries, especially hot spots where humans are killed en masse, you pick up the phone and call ICG and hire them.

The Times of London says he’s been sacked but his “advisory” position seems fairly tenuous: He has no formal relationship with them and is merely “one of dozens” of analysts, according to the NYT, who send position papers occasionally to their foreign policy people. Which makes this sound less like a case of someone being “fired” than simply being disinvited from sitting in on more conference calls.

H-A could have soooo easily gone with the smear on this item… but they don’t. that’s why I trust this place for the truth. you never take the bait the others readily chomp on…

It doesn’t matter who becomes the next President of the United States. Anti-Semitism is spreading like wildfire throughout Europe. It’s already rampant in the Islamic world. The United Nations has spent resolution after resolution (in fact, about half of its time) condemning Israel. In fact, apart from the USA, Israel has few allies. One day, the Bible predicts, she will have no allies, and all nations shall be gathered against her. Don’t take my word for it. Watch the daily news for this to develop. There will be an increase in domestic (especially if the Dems take over) and InterO��i7� pressure to talk/listen to terrorists like Hamas, and increased pressure to side with the Arab/Palestinians to the point that whoever becomes President will cave into this pressure and go against Israel. This Obama situation is just a glimpse into the future. My advice to you as an individual. Do not go against Israel (see Zechariah 12:9 Genesis 12:3).

Obama must hate Israel. Look at the people around him. We’ve got Rev. Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Robert Malley, Zbigniew Brizenski, Samantha Powers — all died-in-the-wool Israel haters. (And face it, at least some of them are obvious died-in-the-wool Jew-haters.) He’s willing to grant the prestige of presidential diplomacy to Ahmadinejad and Assad, who are both committed to Israel’s destruction. Hamas openly supports him. At home, he’s chummy with domestic terrorists as well. Apart from his vacuous pronouncements, has he ever done anything to suggest that he wouldn’t be pleased to see Israel destroyed?

Does anyone really believe that Obama doesn’t share the poisonous views of his advisors and hangers-on? And why would any Jew, Democrat or not, give this guy a vote?

Somewhat offtopic but spured off of something in the post: Does anyone know who is advising McCain?

The problem with McCain is that he has a record but he has no articulated vision. His campaign strategy thus far seems like interest group checkbox “appealism”. The problem with Obama is that his record is not impressive and it actually contradicts his rhetoric. Without being able to show where he is going to try to take the country, McCain looks like the “empty suit”.
