She is not the same person we came across, but the similarities between the two are absolutely striking to me. Pretty, perhaps late 40s or early 50s, she had almost the exact same smile and expressions that this woman has. And she also had that same look of confidence and certainty on her face, obviously arising out of her personal sense of the situation, i.e., her feelings as opposed to the facts.

We were in the Barley House late in the afternoon (near the front door) and were talking with a couple of locals about the election, when Ron Paul walked in the door with a few of his hangers-on. He looked around and walked over to talk to us, and we politely chatted with him for a few minutes. None of us were supporters of his, so we challenging him on his views — especially when he began the stuff about the gold standard — but as I say, it was polite.

In the midst of the conversation, this lady walked over and interrupted in order to talk to Ron Paul. I think she had the impression that someone was taking a video of the whole thing. And she was featuring a prominent Obama sticker or two. Clearly, she thought she was on stage! She began by effusively thanking Ron for his participation in, and contribution to, the political process this year. She went on and on, but it was quite clear she was not really aware of his views, or in anything he had to say — it was theater to her, and she was , for that moment, in her starring role. The fact was that someone did have a light on, but there was no video being taken. I’m sure she’s still looking around for the video!

The woman is a loon. Whether you agree or disagree with Hillary Clinton on health care, she did the work…in fact it provided Rush Limbaugh with about a year and a half of material. So, to deny that it occurred demonstrates a delusional frame of mind.

The journalist, if he was half informed on the subject, ought to have called her on it. To have simply allowed the lady to spout off her delusions, uncommented upon, would leave younger listeners with the idea that the issue was debatable..which it is not.

This is how through laziness, sloth and sheer lack of curiosity the journalists of today are misinforming their viewers/listeners and, thus, hurting democracy.

Yes, indeed, please do GO BILL. Far, far away, fade ever so gently into the sunset. I have seen worse from him. He reminds me of Captain Queeg from the Caine Mutiny. Yes, indeedy, Hillary did work really hard on that mammoth POS she came up with for healthcare. Let’s give her kudos for working hard on that huge elephant of a monstrosity. But don’t mention all the money that cost and how she never consulted any outsiders who might have valuable insight. Or her absolute inexperience to even tackle such a project. Or the inept people she chose to assist her. She worked hard alright. Bill has a persecution complex and it comes out each and every time someone challenges him. The finger starts to wag, the brow starts to furrow, and his nose gets bigger and redder. Seriously. Happens every time.

Between this angry video and the beet-red face Bill had on Tuesday while standing behind Hillary on the stage, it’s hard to believe some people still think the Clintons could be thisclose to getting out of the race. If anything, they’re planning to turn this into a blood feud and will take out everybody who gets in their way.

That whole Tuzla thing is just a big misunderstanding. At one point, Hillary was heading into Oklahoma for a rally. Obama was already there, having his own rally. When the folks at the Obama rally realized that Hillary was in an airplane heading their direction, they were up in arms. Hillary’s plane had to take evasive action and land at a nearby airport. It’s the easiest thing in the world to confuse what happened at Tuzla with what happened at Tulsa. ;-)
