Emphasis on suspected: Early reports claim that he’s here illegally but cops are still investigating. My deepest apologies to amnesty shills everywhere for even bringing his status up. Hopefully it’ll turn out he’s a citizen so we can all breathe a sigh of relief and be comfortably outraged by the crime; otherwise this is destined to end up on “Geraldo At Large” as one of those segments in which our fearless host spends six of the seven minutes devoted to it explaining why immigration politics have absolutely, positively nothing whatsoever to do with the matter — even though in theory stronger enforcement would have kept this guy out of the country in the first place. I don’t know if it’s just me, but doesn’t it seem like the media has churned out an abnormally large number of ‘red-meat’ stories like this one about the horrific crimes that illegal aliens are performing here (yes, illegal alien. Calling an illegal alien an undocumented worker is like calling a drug dealer an unlicensed pharmacist)
Certainly seems like an agenda to drive the right away from McCain in this election or at least ensure that the folks with whom immigration is important see McCain as someone who doesn’t support their views.

The big LIE is that the Illegal Aliens are just freedom loving want-to-be US Citizens…in reality they are petty thieves, rapist, murderers, liars, cheats and mostly typical illiterate, oppressed 3rd world beggars with no reason at all to be in the US! It will take an armed revolt and mucho death to rid our country of the traitors/allies that have allowed the invasion of this country.

I’ve seen many people call for extreme punishment of this monster. And while I agree wholeheartedly, I have to point out the reality that our open borders President Bush has gone out of his way to protect an equally evil rapist, torturer, and murderer here in Texas – at MEXICO’S BIDDING. Jose Ernesto Medellin has been on Death Row for kidnapping, torturing, and raping two teen girls as part of his gang initiation. He has admitted to the crimes, along with four other gang-bangers. However, his execution has been stayed multiple times due to his illegal immigration status:
Kowtowing to Mexico and a completely irrelevant international court is our own President Bush. This case is pivotal and precedent-setting. Bush has meddled FAR beyond the scope of justice, and illegals on Death Row are alive and well at taxpayer expense simply due to the fact that they are ILLEGAL!!!
Now tell us all again that their immigration status doesn’t matter!
The Medellin case is a travesty of justice and has rounded the corner into pure evil. And it is setting irreversible precedents. So, NO, I don’t think this illegal alien child rapist, Juarez, will ever be properly punished. Again, our government refuses to DO ITS JOB of enforcing law and protecting citizens!
Exit question: how long before the people realize that the government is criminally derelict in its duty, and take the law into their own hands?

My first thought was that the victim was also an illegal immigrant or the child of illegal immigrants. The people most likely to be victimized by criminal aliens are their fellow illegal immigrants. They often fail to report a crime for fear of being deported. Getting a grip on illegal immigration protects them, too. Either they won’t be here to be victimized, or they’ll be here legally with full protection under the law.

Judging by the numerous times this sort of story comes up, it seems that this type of act is a usual occurance in Mexico, and these people are just doing what they think is culturally acceptable.

This is by far my favorite blog, but I think someone is getting a little lax upstairs. I don’t recommend banning people outright. Rather I appreciate the stern rebukes handed to outright stupid commenters.
We have one person wishing “Pedro” dead. Another calling people, you know human beings, “beaners.” And again with the “chunte” slur.
I don’t care that you haven’t heard it used widely. You’ve been advised of how offensive the term is. Research it and set a standard. The silence is BS.
And for all you bigots in my party who are wetting yourselves to show your true colors this election season…FU!

Justice would be served, if this person and the one in Austria who held his daughter captive for 24 years and fathered several children with her, were to wander a few steps from their escorts and shot for trying to escape.

I hate to be crass, but it seems like terminating this pregnancy would have been more humane that forcing a 10-year-old to go through with it. Isn’t it cruel enough that she was raped? Why compound the cruelty by making her carry the baby to term and undergo a c-section?
This is a clear case when having an abortion would have been the right, moral thing to do.

The poor little girl probably didn’t have any idea what was going on until it was too late. She probably just thought she had a tummy ache until the contractions started.

I can’t argue with that, but if there is to be a case made about an “illegal immigrant crime wave” (not that you’re making it, but others certainly are) it will have to be by showing that illegals commit violent crimes at a higher rate than everyone else. The evidence doesn’t show that.
We should still enforce our laws and protect our borders, but not because of some mythical illegal immigrant crime wave.

Spending a large part of my military career in Central America I can tell y’all point blank that child rape is a common occurrence down there. Among the poor and uneducated it’s practically an unspoken right. We’re only going to see more of this.
