Video: Pro-life memorial destroyed because abortion’s a right and you’re not allowed to challenge that

This principle was codified, I believe, in the “You’re Not Allowed to Disagree Act of 2002.” In defense of our hero, he’s just following his political instincts: He sees something that challenges his beliefs and, voila, down it goes. Think of it as the Fairness Doctrine for campus protests.

And before you ask, no, your right to free speech that he’s challenging doesn’t count. Exit question one: This sort of makes sense by Doug Kmiec standards, no? Exit question two: “If there’s a student on this campus that … might be having an abortion, might be going through this, you’re going to put this up in front of them? Are you crazy?”

Was it not the pro-abortion student, that was making the angry protest?

I’m pro choice and I find this to be deplorable.

Why can’t more liberals be like me? You know I was posting on some liberal blog and I got run outta town for being to conservative when seriously all I was being was reasonable.

That’s why I have being labeled a liberal, for that, and for stuff like this video.

You are a contradiction.

And apparently, beefytee, now you’re too liberal. Hard to please everyone, huh? I feel your pain.

Real simple. When life begins, any termination (unless in defense of aggression) is murder. So, when does life begin? Viability is a joke because science has made that ever-changing. Therefore only two dates certain come to mind, conception and birth. Only a monster would believe that life begins at birth.

One can never soundly argue that a choice, or privacy, trumps a life.

That’s precisely why no liberal has ever tried to make that argument. And no liberal ever will. Remember, liberals publically pride themselves on never making any moral choices whatsoever. Instead, they treat everything as an absolute.

Liberals never tolerate anything. No liberal has ever said that homosexuals annoy the Hell out of Him, but he’s willing to put up with them anyway. Instead, liberals have to re-define that singularly pestilent fetish as a “lifestyle,” at least as wonderful as mom and apple pie – if anything, even MORE deeply cherished than that.

Likewise, no liberal has ever admitted that abortion is – at best – morally repugnant, but that it is worth it to rid himself of a lifetime burden. And no liberal ever will.

Snail darters; banana slugs; convicted mass murderers and terrorists… It is always worth every effort and expense (on the part of others, of course) to preserve the Holy Lifeforce of all of Planet Gaia’s infinitely beloved brothers and sisters.

But an unborn baby? What? How could anyone even IMAGINE that such an utterly inhuman lump of worthless protoplasm might be deserving of a second’s consideration – let alone protection?
