Two weeks from tomorrow. I should be excited, but … I don’t know. Anyone feel like they’ve seen this movie before? Even more so than when “Last Crusade” came out, I mean. Yes, I understand that being formulaic is part of the “joke” here, but that joke was already wearing thin after about 20 minutes of “Temple of Doom.” He’s a swashbuckler; he has cliff-hanging adventures involving Nazis and mystical relics. We get it. Branch out.
Co-starring Shia LaBoeuf as a — groan — motorcycle-riding Short Round-ish sidekick.

By ’seen before’ did you mean Star Wars Episode 1?
;) I’m not exactly holding my breath.

Firing a rocket launcher inside a vehicle seems like a very bad idea. Other than that, I liked it.

Blanchett’s character is Russian, I think. And the movie’s MacGuffin sounds like a big change from the first 3.

Hollywood relies solely on foley for trailer thrills… lots of booms and shwooshes, and the obligatory unsheathed-sword “schling.” I typically count the number of seconds until the first one is used in a trailer, and in this case, 21 seconds.
next.
