Just a guess, but I’d say the Chaos voters went to the polls with far more education on the issues and greater purpose than 75% of the dems.

Matthews knows as well as the liberals he backs that Limbaugh had little to no effect on the outcome of the primaries. What he does want, however, is to front-load an ideological rationalization for the implementation of the Fairness Doctrine if and when those liberals gain uncontested power. That Rush Limbaugh encourages people to game the Democrat primary system doesn’t bother them nearly as much as the fact that Rush Limbaugh gets to talk at all.

Primary elections are not the ones people have died to protect.

A primary is an internal party function. Parties are private social clubs dedicated to electing a slate of club members to office … they have no existence in the Constitution.

If you don’t like having outsiders effect internal party politics, then stop allowing them access to your delegate selection process. Take your convention private, like the minor parties do, and be done with it.
