Michigan and Florida taxpayers already paid for primaries. Any additional costs should be paid by the Dems so the above statement is idiotic unless printing costs nothing.

That being said, it is highly unlikely that ballots have yet to be printed (or programmed) at this point in the process. If the Dems want to wait until the last minute and make Florida and Michigan votes meaningful it probably wouldn’t cost any more. The real question, IMO, is if the Dems are certain enough of the outcome at this point to gamble that such a vote so close to or during the convention would resolve the conflict or just fan the flames. Liberals and Democrats are, by nature, craven cowards and they will be unwilling to make the gamble.

Two pols enter; one pol leaves. My money is on Barry if the fight stays upright. But if it goes to the mat, odds favor the Hill with a tap-out producing thigh lock.

Just imagine the following:

1 – No Hillary, no Hussein. Just one nominee.

2 – No Internet, no Cable News. Just local and 6:30 p.m. news.

3 – No problems from China, Russia, Al Qaeda, North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, Iran and Cuba.

Imagine.

Just like life used to be in the Soviet Union.

Operation Chaos will have trouble in Florida because of our registration having to be done so far in advance. I don’t think you’d make it back to Republican for the general if you switched for that primary.

McCain-Giuliani would torque off too much of the base. I also don’t want a staid VP – I want a colorful, energetic “minority” VP to challenge the Democrat Party. Pamela Geller sounds good.

McCain-Geller, McCain-Malkin or McCain-O’Sullivan sounds good right about now to seal the deal. Yes, the running mate has to be female.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…a “do-over” in either of those states has to be a “do-over” for both parties because Democrats changed party to vote in the Republican primary and have now switched back. Allowing those voters to vote twice (in both the Republican and Democrat primaries) is illegal. Either don’t seat the delegates, or do a “do-over” for both parties. You can’t have your cake (McCain wins Florida with Democrat support) and eat it too (Hillary gets to seat the delegates).

I guess CNN is gonna front the States the money to do this. After all, it was their goofy idea.

Makes sense. CNN can tabulate the expense as a political contribution, and will benefit with appreciative public opinion in those states where the Democrats lost their vote to Howard Dean’s upstairs politics.
