The Democratic front runner for president is mortally wounded. The candidate in second place is unelectable, hated by 40% of the electorate. To proceed with the front runner is political suicide. To replace the front runner with Ms. Second Place will outrage black voters, the Democrats most slavish followers, and throw the entire Democratic party into a civil war, with all the liberals at each other’s throats.

‘Tis bliss to be a Republican in this sunny season, with euphoria to follow in the fall election.

Q#1 No, operation Chaos was and is accomplishing it’s purpose.
Q#2 It appears the nomination of Obama or Hillary is in the hands of the superdelegates and therefore out of the hands of the voters.
Why help Obama? I agree with misterpeasea @6:08 pm and also with amerpundit @6:25 pm.
The only way that Hillary could win the nomination, in my opinion, would be if Obama has another “Wright” moment of any kind that would damage him irrevocably. Again, out of the hand of the voter’s hands. So, Roll on, O.C. Thanks Rush

I’ll note that for all the polling, no preacher, Black leader, politician, civil rights advocate, or NGO head has been able to criticize Wright.

Not even the Rev. Joseph Lowery, a man who’s achievements and bravery speak for itself, at the end of his career, can speak out and say Wright was wrong on the theory that American governments created the AIDS virus.

This suggests that the beliefs are held widely and deeply enough that to say they are nonsense, publicly, is to risk everything. That Lowery would not on Fox News say Wright was bunk on the AIDS conspiracy speaks volumes.

Everyone keeps talking about how the purpose of the super delegates is to restrain the dopey masses from nominating another McGovern. Seems to me the more logical reason for keeping it was to cut off the primary sniping as soon as a clear front-runner emerged by having the supers put the leader over the 50% mark as early as possible. In this case however, it is the one thing that is prolonging the race. If it weren’t for the black-vs-female thing, the supers could put away the Beast right now.

It would still be better for Hillary to win the nomination, even if BO is the weaker candidate. The Democrats have managed to find one of the few people who is worse than the Clintons, and he must lose the primary so that there is no chance he will become president.

Obama represents the worst that politics has to offer. He is pure style over substance. His core constituencies are all voting for a symbol: they like him because he is young, is was well spoken, exciting, etc. Rich liberals can feel extra sophisticated for voting for him. How many of those Che-shirt-wearing-miscreants-without-a-job would even know a political issue if it bit them? Obama is the ultimate appeal to ignorance. Where did they find this guy, anyway?

We can vote for General Panstuit until we’re blue in the face. Obama will win the pledged delegates, and the supers will push him the rest of the way. Regardless of the fact he’s weaker, the supers still abandon her for him.

The only thing OC will do now is encourage Hillary and her supporters to keep fighting. She’ll still lose in the end; The party bigwigs will make sure of that.

Did you know the last Democrat to win the presidential election without Pennsylvania was Truman? Obama can’t win PA, and if he can’t win PA, he can’t win the election, no modern Democrat has.
