Why do I love politics and campaign season? Sometimes people forget that intensive effort and focus breeds more than ulcers and obsessions, but also intelligent debate, philosophical choices, and a great deal of humor. Here’s one from the inbox today, a pharmaceutical advertisement that might explain the sudden re-emergence of Hillary Clinton.

There should be something called Angercil for Obama and his crowd.
Folks may not like McCain most would agree he’s qualified but more importantly he’s not disqualified due to character or judgement issues. McCain wins in November by default.

I disagree. I question McCain’s judgement and character on a variety of issues. Including:
Brokering a deal with Russ Feingold that curtailed individual First Amendment rights.
Brokering a deal with Teddy Kennedy to provide amnesty to illegals and calling anybody who disagreed with his scheme racist.
Spearheading a group of Senators that deliberately short-circuited the judicial nomination process. Qualified jurists were denied even a hearing because of McCain’s spite.
McCain consistently votes with Democrats and has no party loyalty.
McCain sent the AF tanker contracts to a foreign nation.
etc…
In short, just because McCain is less of a dirtbag than Obama, let’s not pretend that McCain is something more than a slightly cleaner dirtbag than the competition. That isn’t enough for some of us.

This reminds me. Montel Williams has those commercials of pharmaceutical companies giving away medicine for lower income people. There’s one lady that I’ve seen in there and underneath her name it says “Clinton supporter”. That always stands out to me.
