Maybe we should insist that tax dollars for global warming “research” be put to another use. How about we save a few billion instead of constantly flushing this money down the toilet to pay a bunch of lying con-artist?

When we last checked in on the actual science of global warming, we found that the planet hasn’t actually been warming over the past ten years and that this past year’s cooling completely wiped out the entire warming trend for the past cent…

And by the way, what is the “proper temperature” for the planet…and who gets to control the thermostat? Do we all take turns, or do we have to fight for it?

In other words, he is so out of touch with reality, he sees Global Warming in everything. He is also suffering from a severe, possibly terminal case of Don’t-Confuse-Me-With-The-Irrefutable-Facts-My-Mind-Is-Already-Made-Up-itis.

I would say his situation is hopeless.

Time for him to go away.

So I’ve been running my AC continuously to stave off global warming. My husband says with this new information, we should turn the heat on instead.

These quotes are so full of methane and toxic intestinal emanations they are probably causing localized heating and burnt nostrils at the source.

Sheesh. As someone said above, we used to call this sort of thing weather. Well, my family still does at least.

If such a moderation in temperature trends does persist in the North Atlantic, it will provide ammunition for skeptics, to be sure, and probably will mire down efforts to craft a reasonable policy to address global warming.

But I would add this: if the rest of the world does warm during the next decade, while the Atlantic cools, then it will in my mind validate the computer models — the same computer models now predicting dramatic and near-catastrophic warming by century’s end.

I find it hilarious that the “facts” are getting in the way of making policy. If these people got a scratch on their arm, they’d break out the bone saw because they’d be freaking out about gangrene.

Say, why didn’t the vaunted computer models predict the down turn before the downturn turned down? The temperatures they are a falling, and the taxes, they are a rising. My guess is taxes don’t follow temperature.
