I think the bigger problem here is our assuming that the Liberals actually care about the truth.The larger body of evidence suggests otherwise.

To answer your questions: In the African American and white liberal community, the majority will be fooled. The notion of “hope” and “change” transcends.

Here’s what I think Obama really believes in: Being elected to the Presidency of the United States of America by any means necessary.

Then there’s the speech in San Francisco, where Obama claims that “bitter” small-town people “cling to their religion”. Obama clings to his religion (Wright) to the tune of $40K plus, which he gives to his idea of God, and wants to become our “Caesar”.

Obama probably hopes that he can convince voters that he never heard “appalling” comments from Wright before yesterday, and change the subject. Most likely, Obama heard these things before, maybe agreed with them, and hoped that he could hide Wright until the election, and is denouncing Wright to save his political career. The crucial question is, how many voters will be fooled by Obama’s denunciation of Wright, and how many will question Obama’s sincerity and wonder what Obama really believes?

All that evidence points to the fact that Barry is not a great leader.

There’s nothing new here. Barry’s a politician. I have not “hope” that he will ever “change.”

This tactic is going to come back knock him down like a thousand pound boomerang.

These people BELIEVE exactly to their cores what their mentors tell them. Everything else is tactics. So Ed, while I didn’t think before Obaaaammmaa was making rookie errors, I have talked myself into agreement with you.

It is fortunate he is a rookie and less able to hide his agenda and bigotry (not just race-based, either) than the more skillfull but fairly transparent Hillary.

It could also be he is so enraptured with the majesty of his own ideas, so attuned to the echo chamber he lives in and has on his staff, he simply doesn’t understand how far off the cliff he and his fellow travelers are. Ignorance, to dumb/proud to know understand how out of tune they are.

Either way, Wright will continue, directly or indirectly, fo feed and inform Hussein’s inner man. He has so little else, IMO, and can’t now admit it…has to hide his emptiness.

So when does he start claiming that he never heard his wife say any of the clunkers she’s spouted? Maybe he’ll dump her by November?

Oh, man! I have never heard that video before. Hilarious blackspeak, keepin’ it real for the brotherhood! “You wearin’ a suit today, Rev!” Yeah, Rev, where’s the dashiki?

What a fuc*ing joke.

His problem is while he’s calculating about what it took to get Barak Obama ahead in the world of politics, he wasn’t ruthless enough in his decisions didn’t dump Wright in March, after his first comments came out and he had outlived his usefulness to the campaign (he could have dumped him earlier, especially after last year’s initial Rolling Stone interview or reports on Wright about Sean Hannity, but the reverend still was an asset to Obama at the time in showing his “blackness” to the more radical in the African-American community and prying them away from the clutches of the Clintons, who at this time in 2007 were still presumed to have most black voters and key legislators locked up for her 2008 campaign).

Given a similar situation, Hillary would have tossed a radioactive supporter under the bus months ago, if he or she got in the way of her hopes for power. Obama didn’t learn that lesson and still hasn’t learned it, since he’s yet to make any similar denunciation of William Ayers, even though that association threatens to hurt Barak down the road almost as much as his connection with Wright has in the past month.

So I respectfully request, Rev. Wright, Rev. Sharpton, Rev. Jackson, etc., please stop race baiting and mocking the very God you claim to worship.

The Obama’s had to earn about $50K to give the $26K… you know, taxes and all.

Then Michele complains about the high cost of college loans and dance lessons and piano classes and tuning the darn thing and tutus and then gives what it took them $50K to earn to a church that would have those same children treated as completely different in American society due to their “right brained” based victimology, etc.

Are their mirrors in the Obama home?
