O’Reilly to MKH: You do think the video of that kid threatening Bush is child abuse, don’t you?

Does she? The stammering speaks volumes!

Here’s the clip they’re talking about. Not sure why she’s hesitant — using a kid to commit a federal crime would seem a clear-cut case — but I’ve a hunch it’s because she knows his standards of finding abuse in children spouting off politically aren’t always so exacting and she doesn’t want to encourage him.

All this, plus: Does Michael Moore’s endorsement do anything for Obama aside from reminding us what kind of liberal is apt to favor him?

No.

I didn’t exactly notice the stammering. Say, did you keep the DVR rolling for Amanda’s appearance on H&C?

steveegg on April 24, 2008 at 10:47 AM

Same old, some old…..but this is what Blacks have been getting away with to the degree of infecting their offspring like Palestinian kids. When does Chapelle or Rock come out with the White Eating Rabbit?

Zero will happen to this kid, or his deeply dysfunctional household.

Hening on April 24, 2008 at 10:49 AM

There’s nothing better than a fat, wealthy, white man pointing out the Uncle Tom’s to inspire us to greater togetherness.

JayHaw Phrenzie on April 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM

Nice. All that was missing from that kid was a couple of bandoliers and an AK47. Anyone check into the religious background of this family, just for grins? Or would that be profiling? Somehow, having a kid spouting death threats to the president via video had more than a casual whiff of islamo fascism to it.

I feel bad for MKH. I realize she has to do these segments to publicize herself and Townhall, but to have to sit through Bill’s gasbag paternalism every week must be a chore.

austinnelly on April 24, 2008 at 11:03 AM

Exactly. This is not much different than the Palestinian kids being used as political props. And it very definitely is child abuse.

Connie on April 24, 2008 at 11:09 AM

Hey, anything that gives MKH more airtime. She’s easy on the eyes, in addition to being funny, intelligent, and well-spoken.

flydiveski on April 24, 2008 at 11:20 AM

and they created Hip-Hop because Rap had such a bad name. I guess this is another example that it still sux and spews hatred and violence.

kirkill on April 24, 2008 at 11:23 AM

Considering the “success” Moore has had at supporting candidates and causes….. let him have at it… can’t hurt us!

MNDavenotPC on April 24, 2008 at 11:24 AM

The one thing that I would state is that it might be child abuse, or it might be the culture and/or internet corrupting the kids. There are amounts of videos of lil boys/girls talking all sorts of trash and posting them to act tough. Add to that the anti bush hatred that is all over the place. Ultimatly the parents are at fault here, but there might be cases where kids get this hatred from other places and feel that they are tough enough to post them….

JVelez on April 24, 2008 at 11:25 AM

It didn’t look like stammering to me, either. It looked more like the non-lawyer looking to make sure she didn’t misuse a term with specific legal connotations. But not throwing chum to Bill seems possible, too.

but to have to sit through Bill’s gasbag paternalism every week must be a chore.
Enrique on April 24, 2008 at 11:05 AM

I wouldn’t worry too much. By the time she hits the Big 3-0 in a couple of years, she will have explored even more venues and styles and be really ready when she’s offered a major multi-platform media deal.

eeyore on April 24, 2008 at 11:34 AM

I love the way Bill tries to get everyone to see it his way, or else. Unless he feels they really know more than him, like Coulter, Rove.

He treats MKH like she’s young and he has to set her straight on some issues, thus the reason he asked her twice.

AprilOrit on April 24, 2008 at 12:03 PM

I think the part that was most embarrassing (or ought to have been) for Mr. O’Reilly was the earlier segment about gas prices. To me it is a bit unbelievable that a guy in his position, who previously taught school and who constantly brags about having gone to Harvard and Boston (what? University? College?…whatever…)apparently never took a basic course in Economics. Don’t they have Economics 100 at Harvard?

Good grief…”Who actually says $120.00 per barrel?” he asked. He seems to have no working knowledge of a market and the basic theory of supply and demand.

As you note, Ms. Ham did her best not to show Mr. O’Reilly up about whether she thought this recording was child abuse. I think the same could be said about the guest on the gas prices segment (I have forgotten his name)whose facial expressions and silences after Mr. O’Reilly’s interruptions at vital points of his explanations spoke volumes.

So we can look forward to seeing the kid host the Grammys. BET awards?

ronsfi on April 24, 2008 at 12:06 PM

I suspect that O’Reilly like Internet porn.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Dude. Where do you live? The kid was like 9 years old. I’ve got an 11 year old boy in a very integrated public school and NO WAY do kids that age talk that kind of trash and think it’s normal.

29Victor on April 24, 2008 at 12:20 PM

And that would be Michael Moore.

I don’t get the attacks on the oil companies and the speculators with O’Reilly.

So out of character for him.

AprilOrit on April 24, 2008 at 12:41 PM

Can someone tell my why O’Reilly has a topic about teenage sex or half-naked teens on EVERY SINGLE recent episode? I’m honestly starting to think he may wind up on TO CATCH A PREDATOR one day. Last night’s episode: Revealing Hannah Montanah internet pics.

Half the country wouldn’t have known about the pics until now. Thanks a lot, ya buffoon.

Jungliszt on April 24, 2008 at 12:49 PM

I’m in lust with MKH. She’s smart, funny and gorgeous.

larkydozer on April 24, 2008 at 12:52 PM

Her patience with him is laudable.

Yeah, half the country watches O’reilly. Try the pause button on your FoxNews Tivo loop there Spanky.

The Miley Cyrus news is news to Oreilly and other pervtards who go out of their way to look at training bras. He’s a tool and you’ve got a loose screws. Two great taste that taste great together.

My name is Tom, and I have some nieces who are black, and it cracks me up with they call me Uncle Tom (cause, you know, I’m white). Usually we go with ‘Uncle Tommy’.

FWIW my kids are a mocha-y color. It’s all topsy turvy.

tlynch001 on April 24, 2008 at 1:45 PM

Off topic but on O’Reilly:

He had a guy on last night to talk about oil. The guy mentions that the US oil companies are trying to keep a cap on the price and the oil refineries are doing the same. He also mentions that the price of oil is also based upon the demand from places like India and China.

O’Reilly then goes on a rant about the profit of the oil companies and suggest a boycott of gas stations will force down the price of gas. The guy starts to agree with him, negating the reasonable economic commentary he already made.

davod on April 24, 2008 at 3:01 PM

A lot of times on this website I read people really hating on O’Reilly. Maybe because of the Malkin/Jerry Rivers thing?(I don’t blame ya there.) 75% of the time I agree with Bill, and 25% of the time couldn’t disagree with him more. That’s the purpose of the show…My point is my jaw dropped when I heard him talking about the HUGE profits oil companies are making. A previous post on this thread called into question Bill as far as Economics 101, and rightfully so. Any Neal Boortz fan will tell you the difference between profit and profit margin. Please Bill, tell me you’re not as stupid as those on the left…There’s profit and profit MARGIN. You’re starting to sound like Karl Clinton from the Marxist school of Saul Alinsky..

Or maybe it’s because they’re arrived at their own conclusions about the guy, which differ from yours, with no ulterior motives behind them.

Ha ha, just kidding! You’re right, it’s a bunch of libbruls around here.
