Boy is this an interesting story right here in my own backyard. The flap between John McCain, the RNC and Linda Daves and the NC GOP is fascinating to watch…….

North Carolina won’t forget the tobacco settlement that did nothing but take money out of this state and gave it to the trial lawyers. I am ashamed but I took joy out of the knowledge that he got sun cancer a year or two after that as I thought it was poetic justice from how he vilified a LEGAL product and basically stole their profits, put people out of business, and forced farmers out.

You ain’t seen a temper until you’ve seen mine. And this just threw me over the edge. You really want me to bring up the Keating 5 every day more and more detailed until the election don’t you?

The Democrats have run ads here at a clip of about 20 to 1. It will be nice to see a republican ad for a change. . . you know one that doesn’t tout someone’s pro-choice stance or anti-gun stance.

We have Democrats in this state who actually are more for border security than McCain is. One black Democrat named Mel Watt in the House I have much more respect for than McCain. McCain won’t win NC. The last time a D won was Jimmy Carter, but this state will not vote for him after this. I’m sorry but this was the last straw.

It doesn’t take a genius to CRASH AN AIRPLANE. I don’t have a 100 million dollar wife. I don’t have TWO pension plans that will pay me for the rest of my life. We are going to have to vote on new bonds in this area to BUILD MORE SCHOOLS! WHY do we have to get more money to build more schools? BECAUSE THE ILLEGALS that McCain doesn’t have to deal with but doesn’t protect us from are OVERRUNNING OUR SMALL COMMUNITIES! McCain doesn’t care.

After this statement, I’m convinced that McCain just wants to lose. He’s lost me, and I’ve defended him as long as I could. You don’t want torture? Well I don’t think it is your place to talk about it. Not in public, not on the Congressional floor. What type of sailor talks about national security issues in public? Loose lips sink ships! You may not like torture, but expect to get it from me. Let’s see that so-called temper. I bet it doesn’t hold a candle to mine because you AIN’T GOT NOTHING TO BE ANGRY ABOUT!

NOBODY in NC is excited about McCain, EVERYBODY is excited about Clinton AND Obama. I hope that conservatives make some headway in local elections. But McCain won’t help at all. I don’t care who gets the presidency. It’s not going to be McCain. I give him ZERO chance of winning NC now after this.

I’m trying to calm down, but the more I read that freaking letter of his to our GOP (which he has done no favors for in the last 20 years – and has damaged) the more angry I get. NO to McCain! This is it. . . I will NEVER vote for McCain. I don’t even want him to come to this state. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut. But NO, he’s Mr. Big shot. He had it figured out through South Carolina. . . but after that he didn’t know anything.

It’s going to be a Democrat year. McCain just gave away NC. McCain’s response to this ad was the lead story on the local news (LIBERAL LOCAL NEWS). Bye bye McCain. Stay in DC where you are with like minded elites. I look forward to your face after the Dems start dredging up the Keating 5 stuff again. What a loser.

But our primary in NC is in a few weeks. We have a good shot at regaining the governor’s mansion from the democrats this year. This is a perfectly legitimate ad aimed at North Carolinians who are going to be voting in our primary. It’s really fascinating that McCain felt the need to even say anything. Nowhere is his name mentioned…nowhere.

It’s perfectly legitimate to question why the 2 leading democrats running for governor of our state of NC have endorsed a Lefty loon like Obama. Keep your nose out of our business, Mr. McCain. This ad was not about you, it’s about our race for governor. Thank you. Have a nice day.

McCain might have been unintentionally clever by leaving the 527 loophole in the campaign-finance law. He can run a “clean” campaign, then let 527 groups hammer Obama, and then say, “well, that’s not me, that’s other people doing that”. Of course, he’ll have to brace himself when George Soros opens his wallet against McCain…

The truth hurts, doesn’t it? Or are you really naive enough to think that Obama was sitting in Wright’s “church” for 20 years with his hands over his ears while his “spiritual mentor” Wright was spewing his hateful, racist diatribes?

McCain better give ample room to his surrogates to run this stuff, or he’ll end up just another traffic statistic on the high road of politics.
