I, er, stiffed you on what should have been an obligatory “rampant penis theft reported” post so I’d better follow through with this freak show. The bad news: He’s a Republican. The good/obvious news: He is, of course, not the party nominee, just one of several candidates running who’ll be duly stomped in the primary.
“This is just a great opportunity for me to witness,” he said, referring to his message and his Christian belief.
He also told WIMS radio in Michigan City that he didn’t believe the event he attended included people necessarily of the Nazi mindset, pointing out the name isn’t Nazi, but Nationalist Socialist Workers Party…
“I told (Channel 16, WNDU in South Bend) in the beginning that I’d speak to any group that wanted me to speak,” Zirkle said Monday. He said he’s also recently spoken on the subject to a pair of black journalists…
“That’s the risk you have to take to get your point across,” Zirkle said. “If the Black Panthers or the Jewish Zionists want me to speak about these issues, I’ll do it.”

I agree with everyone saying it was a stupid move, but in reading the article, it seems more like he just painted himself into a corner.
He said he’d speak at any organization that asked, so he either speaks at Nazi groups or proves himself a liar.
Obviously he could have just said, “I know I said everyone, but I never intended racist groups to invite me,” but that doesn’t constitute proof that he’s a racist. He spoke on how prostitution and pornography hurt whites. Without the Nazi references, the organization is no different from Wright’s church.
He should face some sort of consequences, but I’m sick of seeing the word “racist” thrown about so aimlessly.

To answer your question: Nope, not really. At least not in any way I can think of. Your ex’s choice of counsel has absolutely no bearing on her fitness, or on the child’s best interest (which is the most common criteria regarding custody in most jurisdictions). Your only hope is that the judge knows and maybe dislikes him for it. But even then, the judge is supposed to be impartial. A client’s case is not adjudged by the reputation of the attorney representing him (though, of course, truly bad lawyers get a reputation where they practice that judges take into consideration. More of an initial prejudice, really. But they still rule on the merits 99% of the time). You can’t even file a grievance with your state bar b/c this activity is quite obviously protected under the 1st Amendment. But, if he’s this big of an idiot, maybe he’s a crappy lawyer too.

Okay, what did he say?
That the National Socialist Workers Party members/Nazis were wrong and disgusting?

Short of any combo of the above, my fellow Republicans must disown this monster. The monster says he was there to discuss, “the effect of pornography and prostitution on young, white women and girls” and mentioned “Eastern Europe”. Lot of Jews from Eastern Europe… until the National Socialist Workers Party (Nazi) Government of Germany conquered that part of the world and built death camps to work them and/or gas them to death.
My liberal relatives – some of whom are Jewish – will never let me live this down… until the Nazis march in my hometown so I can imitate the Tank Man of the PRC and stare the Nazis down.
