Wright is a race baiting wacko but does not rise to the level of being a despicable person. By contrast, the weathermen are truly detestable people.

One is struck by their language then and now which seeks to justify their actions by pointing to a larger injustice that "required them to act" and "escalate their reaction to greater crimes". In fact they are delusional homocidal nihilists and deserving the full brunt of public scorn.

Given their rhetoric, may we suppose Bill and Bernadine have divested themselves of their wealth and if not, why not?

Oh, of course not.....<em>that</em> part of their struggle repertoire was dispensed when they decided to grow up, be responsible and "become a pig". "Wild man!"

<blockquote>April:

Huh? When did I post about massive poverty and hunger in America?
Is this the same April who posted a couple days ago about the huge increase in poverty in America?

It’s those posts that I was mocking.

Not your work for the poor. You should be proud for that work. I was mocking your views on poverty which I think are just not accurate.

Let me apologize for the snarky post. It was intended to be tongue-in-cheek.

Back to the topic at hand.

It’s indefensible that Obama had any relationship with these people.

Second, I’ve been a McCain supporter for the past decade. I supported him over Bush and have been supporting him in this run when he was at 5% in the polls.

SteveMG on April 23, 2008 at 7:25 PM</blockquote>

Definately wasn't me, could you have seen April in the date format and assumed it was me? I have never posted about poverty or even admitted to helping at a food bank/soup kitchen until today. I don't really know that much about poverty to post about it freely.

<blockquote>AprilOrit on April 23, 2008 at 6:22 PM
Hey april from Power Line, is that you?

Del Dolemonte on April 23, 2008 at 9:55 PM</blockquote>

And for like the 4th or 5th time, no.

I have never posted at Powerline in my life, hardly read them.

<blockquote>As someone with a BA in English, I have first hand experience that there are few people of lesser consequence in the grand scheme of things than a radical English professor. The fact that Ayers’ father was the CEO of Commonwealth Edison is just icing on the cake. What a complete loser.

furytrader on April 23, 2008 at 9:17 PM</blockquote>

Those who can do, get on with it. Those who can't, teach.

Look at Ayer's booking photo-Loser. Dorhn shows at least a little defiance.

How easy it is to trash capitalism when you are financially secure. How easy for Bloomberg and Feinstein to rant about "too many guns" when they have taxpayer (and armed) security details and all the money they could ever want to hire all the (armed) security they could ever want. They won't live with the results, so why not gather the loons to you...it's votes and continuation of a job...and my ego NEEDS this, who are you to tell me I can't indulge?

I would love to see Ayers' and Dorhn's tax returns. How much money comes from what they do, vice what they got from Daddy and Mommy.

I don't think inheritance taxes should exist, BTW. I do a difference between those who use the inheritance to build, and those who use it to destroy themselves or others.

Can't control it, so the tax should be killed and let us live with the results, roses and thorns.

"The Heart of the Monster"

It sickens me to hear this despicable description of the
United States of America, and really whats worse are the
people living in America,Land of the Free and the Brave
that believe this sh!t!

Throughout my life,I have seen nothing but a Great and
giving country called America, without America this planet
would be a "Living Hell"!

So to these people,if its truly that bad in your own mind,
then I'm quite confident,no matter where you move to,your
attitude will not change, you will hate everyone, eveywhere!

And for Obama Barrack, words mean things, and the company
you keep reflects you,period!

<blockquote>More Far Right loon Atwater attacks, glad McCain ain’t biting. It’s really shameful and looks so desparate.

He needs to run a clean campaign. After all Karl Rove did try to destroy him in 2000. Disgusting dirty politicking, the Independents hate it, the country hates it. Those who do it the most this time around will lose.

The association with those two moonbats just isn’t there, it’s been vetted, checked, researched, revisited. Living in one’s neighborhood and sitting on a board together doesn’t prove anything. The fundraiser was over 10 years ago. And if someone wanted to waste good time they could find any numbers of Republicans who have sat on boards with unsavory characters over the years, or lived near them.

Again, why are the Republican and Conservative bloggers acting so desparate??

These two "unsavory characters", unrepentant terrorists really, are part of a pattern of association that says much about Obambi's world view. His mentor in Hawaii was an aging Communist (forget the name). He adopted a church in Chicago with a minister preaching "black liberation theology", i.e. racism, anti-Americanism, and Marxism, and formed a close association with them for 20 years (donating over $22K last year). His friend Tony Rezko donated cash to Obambi which apparently came from a convicted arms dealer and associate of Saddam Hussein. His wife is a vulgar anti-American.

Do you you suppose that when Obambi hob-nobs with friends and associates he is cavorting with conservatives? He's hanging out with the extreme Marxist left. We don't know much about what he actually thinks, because he is careful to speak in platitudes, but we do know from his speeches and debates that he thinks of America as a class-ridden, racist society, and that our military and our efforts in defense of the Free World are misguided or wrong. This fits in pretty well with the folks he hangs out with.

That's the picture and it isn't pretty. This guy could actually become President of the United States. We should use everything we can find about him that serves to discredit his candidacy in the eyes of the American public. If John McCain is too timorous to use the Weathermen, I sure hope some enterprising 527 does.

More Far Right loon Atwater attacks, glad McCain ain’t biting.

I guess the fact Ayers and Dohrn are alive at all is proof the government does not operate a hit squad. In any country which had the form of government they advocate, these two would have disappeared long ago. In some ways, I am sad we do not have some folks with a 00 license to deal with scum like these two. That they are allowed to teach others is of grave concern. I wonder just what constitutes an english assignment from Willam Ayers? Reading Mao's book?

Undercutting Obama and having Hillary as the other candidate I feel is a mistake.

I have to agree with you April. Right or wrong this issue and others surely to surface will sink Obama with a quickness.

April:
<blockquote>Huh? When did I post about massive poverty and hunger in America?</blockquote>

Is this the same April who posted a couple days ago about the huge increase in poverty in America?

It's those posts that I was mocking.

Not your work for the poor. You should be proud for that work. I was mocking your views on poverty which I think are just not accurate.

Let me apologize for the snarky post. It was intended to be tongue-in-cheek.

Back to the topic at hand.

It's indefensible that Obama had any relationship with these people.

Second, I've been a McCain supporter for the past decade. I supported him over Bush and have been supporting him in this run when he was at 5% in the polls.

I almost forgot about those waste products is SDS. Those dopers were in my high school in Michigan and got run out of the school. The only place these fools could survive in Illinois would be in Hyde Park, or in the Mayor's office.

Steve, you are not familiar with my take on it. I think it's better to run Obama against McCain, as McCain will win.

I do not trust the Clintons. You can ask anyone posting here, I have been saying this for months. Undercutting Obama and having Hillary as the other candidate I feel is a mistake.

<blockquote>Please, insulting you and the GOP? Now you’re just making stuff up and trying to play the victim card.

Not going to work.

No one was “insulting” the GOP. I was insulting your ridiculous posts here claiming massive poverty and hunger in America.

That’s absurd. And so is your response to this post discussing the relationship between a presidential candidate and these despicable people.

If you are indeed a Republican, instead of excusing Obama’s behavior you should be condemning it.

Any Republican who associated with far right individuals of the type of Ayers and Dohrn would have no chance of being President.

As they shouldn’t.

<blockquote>warned the West not to fall for their pseudo-philosophical, insultingly vicious moral-equivalency</blockquote>

It's from this - this moral equivalency between our sins and others - that I think Obama gets the idea that we should sit down and negotiate with the likes of Iran and North Korea.

They're our equals for we have done just as much wrong as they have.

Who's to say we're really better?

Arthur "<strong>Darkness At Noon</strong>" Koestler dissected this brand of militant loser-psycho right after WW II (<em>the exact quotes are available in his book "<strong>Bricks To Babel</strong>", hardback edition, page 240: "The Seven Deadly Fallacies": including "The Confusion of Left and East", "The Fallacy of False Equation:, and ::The Confusion Between Short-Term and Long-Term" aims, etc.</em>), and warned the West not to fall for their pseudo-philosophical, insultingly vicious moral-equivalency, and essentially nihilistic, anarchistic madness.
