What’s hilarious is how thinly veiled Colbert’s contempt for Hillary is. He’s taken shots at Clinton the entire week. When Michelle Obama was on on Tuesday, he gave her very favorable treatment. When Gov. Rendell appeared (on behalf of Hillary), he basically lampooned Rendell’s support for Hillary the whole time.

I’m loving it!!! Operation Chaos!

Anyone else reminded of that pro-Obama ad where Hillary was on the big screen doing an Orwellian two-minutes hate? Except in reverse.

Hillary was almost really good. I wish she would have delivered “Call me anytime” better; she read it as if the line was “My name is anytime.”

I for one cannot stand the lack of respect that liberal candidates show for the Office of the President. I have said it before and I’ll say it again: I do not want to see my president appearing on late night shows, on game shows, on comedy shows, or anything else that conveys anything but professional and dignified formality.

Say what you will about George Bush, but he consistently stays above this tripe. Dems soil the prestige of the office with this shallow and calculated pandering to emotion over substance. Sadly, this seems to be normal behavior for members of the mutual-masturbation society that is modern liberalism.

I thought those two clips were funny with BO the funnier of the two. Sometimes it’s just good to not be so serious all the time. Even if for a moment.

But then a moment after the clips the feelings of laughter contrasted with my feelings of contempt for these two boneheads made me even more resolute in my disdain.

It’s roller coaster ride of laughter one moment and disgust the next. Anyone else have this feeling? Or do I just need to take a break from being a news junkie?

It was probably for the best not to have him interview her. He’s more of a loose cannon than Stewart is. When Stewart has a guest he disagrees with, he’ll change the format for the entire episode to please them (See: Lynne Cheney) and remain civil.
