The Ed Morrissey Show: Cassy Fiano, King Banaian, Debate-a-palooza!

posted at 1:30 pm on April 17, 2008 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we have two great guests. Cassy Fiano wrote an excellent riposte to Glamour’s Megan Carpenter about the supposed “ghettoization” of female bloggers. We’ll ask her whether she feels marginalized and about the experience of being female in the political blogosphere. In the second half, King Banaian joins me to talk economics in the presidential election. We’ll discuss the performance of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on economics in last night’s debate.

Join the chat while you’re here! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions…

Also, you can use the RSS feed to download the show as a podcast. I’ll add it to iTunes shortly.

Is this the Fox News farm team? I see a lot of talent here. The difference seems to be the wardrobe budget.

You’re getting her on your show?

You lucky bastard.

With that cute smile and wearing that ball cap, I nominate her for Ms. July.

I can’t respect a guy who’s liberal all that much because it makes me question his intelligence.

I love it. She’s pretty AND smart. Niiiice.

Funny thing, Cassy Fiano’s here and there are double digit comments for the first time in ages….

Ed, the funny thing is I’m actually beginning to like your stuff. No no really. Your written stuff at least is insightful not reactionary. But it’s so much more fun heckling. Now, back to my seat in the back, under the burned out light bulb …

“God you …”

The subject of MP3 downloads came up in yesterday’s comments, but let me add my voice to those asking for them. I could get to BTR chat from work, but Ustream.TV is blocked. Unfortunately, I don’t have ~60 minutes at home to listen to the stream replay, but the MP3 podcast feed allowed me to listen to recent shows while commuting. (Yes, Ed, some of us still have to participate in that archaic “driving to work” activity … 8^)
