I quit bitching about McCain the day Romney dropped out. If Pill and Olaf can’t get off this kick, please Captain take them away.

I could even get over a ticket without Romney, but I sure don’t want that to happen. Romney is a breath of fresh air, a nimble thinker with a big picture view AND a grasp of details. Very rare. CDR McCain, you would want your wing man to be the best, not the best liked.

But he’s not conservative at all: http://trueromney.com/. He’s the John Kerry of the republican party. Most politicians are extremely slimy…but Romney takes the cake.
When someone lies about every single one of their positions, then they are not an ordinary politician but an Uber-politician, and IMO an extremely dangerous character.

He should have dropped out after south carolina. His whole strategy was to win IA,NH,SC.

Am I bitter against romney?

Maybe. This election has been a nightmare because of him.

Do I hate him? No, not personally…only the evil that lurks within him.

Do I think he should get a free pass to publicly disparage Christianity by saying ‘mormonism is Christianity’ without being challenged on it? Certainly not.

After NH, Romney knew he was finished but stayed in to mess up the election. Does anybody truly think that Romney is as innocent as he claims to be?

Romney absolutely spent the most money on smear ads(full of lies)against every single candidate who was leading against him(Huck,Rudy,Mccain).

Fortunately, most people were able to see his true character and voted him out of the race.

And Cheney’s line of infallible was spot on. Also a “stiff” guy with a sense of humor. Although I think the news actually do feel they are infallible.

What they dont understand is that Mitt OWNED them with his joke about “two Christian leaders”.

What Mitt was saying was “isnt Huckabee a d**che?” And the crowds laughter was their agreement that, yes, Huckabee is a Dou**e.

For the record, I would trust Mitt Romney with the Presidency more than I would trust John McCain.

I may have faith differences with Romney, but Romney has not shown the Socialist tendencies that McCain has.

Mitt Romney is a good and honorable man, as are most Mormon/LDS men. I appreciate the good works done by most Mormons/LDS. I appreciate the good family lives of most Mormons/LDS. I appreciate the conservative voting record of most Mormons/LDS. All of these things are good for our country, and I sincerely appreciate them.

It is true that Mormons/LDS have spiritual beliefs that are significantly different from the rest of people who consider themselves Christian. While there are differences between Catholic and Protestant Bibles (there are a few additional books in the Catholic Bible), the overwhelming majority of sacred text is the same, and split into old and new testaments. Go to a site like Biblegateway.com and you will find the Bible in many different languages and versions.

Mormons/LDS believe that a third testament, the Book of Mormon, was given to Joseph Smith, and this third testament is their primary focus. Go to scriptures.lds.org and you will find that in addition to the Old and new Testaments they have the Book of Mormon, which they consider “ANOTHER TESTAMENT OF JESUS CHRIST”. That third testament portrays Jesus Christ as not the Son of God, but a son of God.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints does not put its focus on Jesus Christ as the one and only Son of God, it puts its focus on its members becoming Latter-day Saints… that is on becoming another Jesus on another planet. Evidence on this focus of becoming Latter-day Saints (LDS) can be seen in the official URL of the church…lds.org.

I do not hate Mormons/LDS, although many hate me. They believe that I only have “part of the truth”, i.e. the Old and New Testaments, but not the Book of Mormon. They believe that it is Heavenly Father, not Jesus Christ, who is the “Good News”. They believe that Lucifer and Jesus Christ were brothers, and that I am the spawn of Satan. That’s OK, I love them anyway, because Jesus Christ of Nazareth taught me to.

Mormons/LDS, my heart truly goes out to you because most of you are very good people, but your plan of salvation is hopeless. It is your heart’s desire to dwell with Heavenly Father for time and all eternity, but ask yourself the following questions:

If you died today and the judgment was held tomorrow, have you met the requirements for dwelling in Heavenly Father’s celestial kingdom?

Do you know that you are forgiven?

What are the requirements for you to obtain God’s total pardon of all sin forever; and can it even be done?

The fact that a president is trying to run as a “Christian leader” reveals a complete lack of conservative (or even Republican) values. Ronald Reagan didn’t run as a “conservative leader,” and neither did Barry Goldwater, who was a pro-choice Christian (and was wrong about it). If you have to say “I’m a Christian leader” to get votes, then you’re pathetic – and I mean that not disparagingly/ad hominem-ly, but literally.
