You know, Ann Coulter was right after all when she criticized the Jersey Girls, widows of Sep 11 victims who railed against Bush. Lefties love to have spokesmen who can not be criticized. The Jersey Girls, whatever crazy venom they spat, were above criticism because they lost their husbands and so possessed unassailable moral authority. Cindy Sheehan became the spokesman for the looney left because of the unassailable moral authority of losing her son in Iraq. Now, Obama has unassailable moral authority because he’s black, which means any criticism of him is de facto racist.

The Left does not believe in free speech. What the Left wants is a monopoly on public forums by any means. It wants to evade and suppress debate and criticism by any means. It’s absolutely an un-American approach which should be rejected.

If the Obamas wouldn’t be elitist, we, and they, wouldn’t be talking about it, at nauseum, and ad infinitum (or at least until beg. Nov. 2008).

The fact that it took the media, and a whole bunch of people for Berry and Michelle Obama to actually point it out, as if their displays and speeches weren’t enough, is double, no endlessly hilarious. Therein lies the biggest Schadenfreude.
