I’m not saying Israel can’t hold it’s own, but we should always stick with our allies.

I agree, but only when allies call for aid. We have no business meddling in their sovereign affairs unless they explicitly ask us to. Such is why I have such strong hatred for Jimmy Carter. He has absolutely no business inserting himself into the Israeli/Arab conflict and doing so makes the US look foolish in Israel’s eyes.

I’d condemn you to hell for your vote on Obama, but you’re already there with me, or so I’ve been told. I do understand you’re reasoning concerning your vote. If that’s where you are, then that’s your choice.
Concerning Israel, I feel it’s in our bests interests on many different (political, moral, spiritual) levels to maintain close ties. We must stop meddling and patronizing, but we should also show consistent and overt support for Israel. I’m not saying Israel can’t hold it’s own, but we should always stick with our allies.

Do you think Obama would do anything to help defend Israel?

Thankfully this is a meaningless question. Israel has no problem defending itself. It has a fantastic tech sector and a very powerful military. An American President will never have to defend Israel because Israel wont ever ask for help. In fact, I think the USA should stop trying to meddle in Israel entirely. There are more important nations in that part of the world to focus on. I think Lebanon and Syria should be a major focus of US foreign policy, but who talks about them?

1) Why do evangelicals need someone who only represents them? I thought we wanted someone who represents all of us. I thought we needed someone who can stand up and put their hand on the Bible and represent all religions? I don’t know of another religion who needs their own representative. I like Hunter, Fred, Mitt. But we didn’t get any of them.

2) For anyone who doesn’t know how a partial birth abortion is preformed – look it up on the internet. I have teachers at school that are pro abortion but have no idea and refuse to hear how it is done.It’s hard to think of any dr doing it.

Second, I seriously would like to know who you would recommend as an acceptable “voice” for evangelicals. You aren’t advocating that our voice be silenced, yet you clearly don’t think Huckabee is acceptable, so who in your opinion is?

You and I both know that the POTUS is far more than a figurehead, and who we vote for in this election will have an impact on a lot more than just the next four years. Plus, there’s no guarantee that Obama couldn’t pull of a Bill Clinton and get re-elected.

On a separate but equally important note, Bambi made a really good point at 6:03 PM. Iran (via Hezbollah) has already declared war on Israel. Iran is working furiously on Nuclear weapons. Do you think Obama would do anything to help defend Israel?

In an interesting development in the trial of Tony Rezko, Mr. Obama’s previous claim to have never met Nadhmi Auchi is now called into question. There has now been testimony that Obama went to a party hosted by none other than Mr. Auchi.

Baring celestial interference, it is impossible to imagine a scenario in which Mr. Obama would forget attending a party hosted by an extremely wealthy person who just happens to be an associate of your close friend Tony Rezko.

All of which gets to the heart of the matter. It is my understanding that in a separate bankruptcy filing, Tony Rezko previously claimed to have no assets which could account for his wife’s purchase of the lot next to Obama. Then lo and behold, just prior to Obama’s home purchase, Rezko received money from Auchi. In a red hot real estate market, Obama was able to receive price reduction on the home and Tony Rezko meets the condition of the seller by purchasing the lot at the same time.
