Obama has been peddlign some very addictive liberal magic pixy dust. But this dealer has apparently started using his own product. He’s going full tilt left, saying what he actually thinks, and believing his own hype, believing he can get away with it. I just wish the guy he was going to lose to in a crushing defeat was an actual conservative.
Funny — just a few months ago, I thought this guy’s purty mouth was going to take him all the way to the white house. Now that same mouth is his own worst enemy. Dude will not shut up.
Quoting liberal scripture when asked about faith….. the Goreacle was robbed by Bush-hitler.
Keep ad-libbing with out a tele-prompter. It truly suits you.
I mean come on people that was 7+ years ago. Can they not get over it? Really what the hell is their probelm? This is the difference between Liberals and Conservatives. Liberals “Cling” to perceived past injustices, while Conservatives say “Screw it, I’ll get him next time.”
I wonder if BO clings to what life would be like if Bush hadn’t stolen the election from Gore.
swami on April 14, 2008 at 10:53 PM
No because by now things would really be in a mess and we would be ushering in the next Regan type revolution in this country. And BO would still be in the Il statehouse because he would not have gotten elected to the senate.
A beard and 50 extra lbs says manbear lost his mind over the results. That’s one of my fondest memories of that election. Life was truly wonderful when he was MIA. The liberal mind can train itself to believe in most anything. Gore and his minions still can’t grasp how Bush sliced through and won, despite the last minute efforts (DUI, media bagmen, etc.).
Goodness sake. I recall that even the Gray Lady counted the Florida ballots (although they had a tough time of it – it seems that chads kept coming loose during handling…just like Bush v Gore said they would) and concluded that Bush won.
Do you guys think he brought up Gore because he’s hinting that if the super delegates don’t go with the popular vote…. Hillary will be an illegitimate candidate like they considered Bush’s presidency illegitimate?
Still waiting for this clown to say something a) intelligent, b) substantial, or c) non-ass-kissing. He also might want to coat his shoe with something edible since it spends so much time in his big yapping mouth.

I guess it depends on your definition of “vile” and what they did to cause you to disagree. The possibilities are endless, though I’ve accepted Pelosi and Reid as my majority leaders because that’s what they are; doesn’t mean I respect them as human beings.
Yes, Gore won handily. Chads in the morning, chads in the evening, chads in the summer time. I’ll take all the elitists money and scam ‘em with a hot globe fine.

Not conspiratorial at all, that’s a big deal for lefties, after years of screeching about the popular vote and 2000 elections, he knows that the superdelegates are gonna be reeeeeal nervous about going against the popular vote. The threat of a backlash from activists who have been frothing over the 2000 election for nearly eight years is a very powerful card for him to play.
1. The electoral college is illegitimate. Since Gore won the nationwide popular vote, he won the election.
2. Had the Supremes not stepped in, the recount would have gone to Gore.
Both these statements are nonsense. The candidates knew the rules in advance. The electoral college decides, not the popular vote. And we have no idea who would win if they kept counting. It could have gone either way. He’s supposed to be intelligent, but where is his mind?
Main Entry: 1fool

Function: noun

Date: 13th century
1: a person lacking in judgment or prudence

I think Obama’s saying, “Yeah, I effed up, and I know you superdelegates like Hillary. Don’t even think of screwing me. I probably have the popular vote locked, and you and I know if you screw me, and I have the popular vote, things are gonna get reeeeal ugly come Convention.”

Dude! You decoded Obama speak! It’s like it’s own language. There’s what Obama says and then what he REALLY means to say:)
We need a scientific breakthrough as of two months ago!
There has to be someone out there that already has their guns clean, already is way ahead in their bible studies, that have some spare time as to make some sort of gizmo that will
predict what Obama will say next, and in the context he says
it in,and how the Liberal media will predict if any new
gaffe will have traction!
So,that way,It’ll save us all the time and grief spending
time on all the moronic flubs that Obama creates!
Wait a tick,simplify it,a Politacal Time Machine.
Ya thats the ticket!Haha.

Dammit…why didn’t I think of this! I think you’re correct. Rush would be proud. I wonder if he’ll say this on the show today!
By the way, so everyone will be up to date, Al Gore did win.
He’s the next official Man In The Moon!
Beats that “Inconvenient Truth” lie.
“Look up there! Al’s full of it again tonight.”
Well if the fella won, Barak, then why the hell didn’t you tear down DC? Why weren’t you screaming from the pulpit, or podium, or soapbox these last 7 years?
I guess stealing the Presidency, for Mr Obama, ain’t a big deal.
Can’t wait till this fool gets off my TV screen + favourite blog. He’s just begging to be schooled. I hope he or his wife stumble on Ann Coulter like Silky’s wife did.
I think that terry’s original speculation is closer to the mark, and I’ve tended to think that Obama, if he’s somehow forced to give in, would go quietly and smilingly enough to preserve his long-term viability and to forestall an ugly revolt, but I admit I’m beginning to wonder.
Once things get ugly, anything’s possible – including Obama himself being made the villain of the piece. Why would a young guy for a politician with so much potentially ahead of him take that risk? On the other hand, we don’t really know him very well, do we? Maybe it really is something more than opportunism, or a very peculiar kind of opportunism, that explains his long-abiding connections to Ayers, Wright, and Khaledi, his mentoring by a Communist, and some of his other connections. Or maybe he has exactly the kind of cool temperament that, when brought to crisis, explodes in destructive rage. I still don’t think that he’s as radical as all that, but at this point all we can really say with any certainty about any such proposition is that it’s untested.
So, no, I don’t think he’s threatening riots or other ugliness, even if more than a few observers have mentioned the possibility. If the Dems and the media decide they don’t want him, there’ve got to be fifty ways to leave your candidate, and 47 or so don’t have to look like outright theft of the nomination.
So, the New Politics is about bringing hate and division to as yet unknown heights? This guy once seemed classy. But he has a couple of reverses and he gets down into the mud and tries to pull everyone else in with him.
Do you guys think he brought up Gore because he’s hinting that if the super delegates don’t go with the popular vote…. Hillary will be an illegitimate candidate like they considered Bush’s presidency illegitimate?
terryannonline on April 14, 2008 at 11:08 PM
WELL DONE! Absolutely right terryann. It has nothing to do with Al Gore, it has nothing to do with pandering to the base. The base loves him anyway, and it doesn’t matter if he thinks Gore won or not because he didn’t.
What IS important for him now is to say, “If I win the popular vote, you had better not think of giving the nomination to anyone but me. Because I won the election just like Al Gore won in 2000″.
I was gonna get upset with the people taking the bait here with him dangling the shiney Gore won, but meaning if I get the popular vote, I get the nomination.
Silly question: Did anyone correct Barry by citing the various studies done by the MSM that almost unanimously found that George Bush DID win the election on the up & up? And, if not, why not?
Lots of Dems are bitter over loooooooooooooosing to Bush TWICE. The repeated repudiation of their Socialist Utopia Agenda has caused them to cling to their… what is it they hold dear again? Lets see, working backwards… not religion, not community, not guns… hmmmm oh, I know… they cling to Government!!
Well, according to Joe Biden, at least he’s clean and smells good.
With those important attributes, he really needs to be elected President of the United States.
Actually, I looked at some of the people in crowd and there was quite a few that didn’t clap.
Indeed. The majority of them didn’t do a damn thing, and many looked distinctly bored and even a bit hostile. When he said the line, it was delivered so inartfully that there was absolutely no crowd reaction for a full second or so, and then somewhere off camera applause “broke out”. But he sure looked pleased as hell with himself, didn’t he?
This guy is not only a phoney, but a dud without a teleprompter.
Blowback

The threat of a backlash from activists who have been frothing over the 2000 election for nearly eight years is a very powerful card for him to play.
doubleplusundead on April 14, 2008 at 11:48 PM
What is he saying? Take your pick:

But he has a couple of reverses and he gets down into the mud and tries to pull everyone else in with him.
snaggletoothie on April 15, 2008 at 12:39 AM

Words matter. Right, Barak?
Limerick on April 15, 2008 at 12:40 AM
Silly question: Did anyone correct Barry by citing the various studies done by the MSM that almost unanimously found that George Bush DID win the election on the up & up? And, if not, why not?
thegreatbeast on April 15, 2008 at 12:42 AM
So anyone else notice that Obama is lying? Look at his face closely as he says Al Gore won…he obviously does not believe it to be true…
18-1 on April 15, 2008 at 12:44 AM
What’s the big deal?
Lots of Dems are bitter over loooooooooooooosing to Bush TWICE. The repeated repudiation of their Socialist Utopia Agenda has caused them to cling to their… what is it they hold dear again? Lets see, working backwards… not religion, not community, not guns… hmmmm oh, I know… they cling to Government!!
Nothin’ to see here folks, just move along now…

Well, according to Joe Biden, at least he’s clean and smells good.
With those important attributes, he really needs to be elected President of the United States.

This guy is not only a phoney, but a dud without a teleprompter.
drunyan8315 on April 15, 2008 at 1:00 AM
So he thinks Al Gore won, and now he has promised to have his Attorney General look into possible Bush administration crimes.
Who could he possibly be pandering to?????
The only people left who will vote for him, that’s who.
