Huck hates me and thinks I’m going to Hell. I’m a Catholic,ya know. I like to leave religion in church, and make politics the focus in the main arena. I like Huck on the FairTax, which I believe will save this nation of ours from the Political class(both Republican and Democrat parasites) but everything else he stands for is fascist…Get the FairTax passed Huck, and then go preach anti-Catholic hate in some talibangelist church….

Just another example of Huck following instead of leading. Romney has painted Huckabee into a corner on each turn. Romney gives a religion speech muting much of Huckabee’s ammunition. Then when Romney reads the landscape after Super Tuesday, he graciously bows out, and starts consolidating his political capital. Huckabee’s left on his quixotic mission to save America, bleeding any sympathetic clout he may have had. After vacationing with the family, Romney then orchestrates the peace offering with McCain, and Huck is left out in the cold again. For someone with a true gift of pandering, Huckabee can be really slow sometimes. Maybe an MBA and a JD come in handy Huck. Maybe managing in big business can prepare you for big boy decisions. Lacking sound political policy and backing it up with ignorant-big-government platitudes illustrate an ill-advised candidacy. Humor and photogenic posturing cannot compensate for incoherent and incongruent policies. Go back to AA-Arkansas and work on your swing. You have a giant hole in it: it’s called class envy with a great big dose of nannyism.

And my serious thoughts on the Huck PAC? I think if he wants to do it, great. I hope he’s doing it to actually get some Republicans elected instead of for his own gain. Somehow I think it’s the later though.
Whereas with Mitt. I believe he really wants to help the party.
I am biased though as a Romney supporter. I like Hucks sense of down-home humor, that’s about it. When I start learning about his record, I’m suprised he lasted as long as he did. Although I could probably think of some reasons he did last as long as he did but we’ve beat that dead horse just about to dust.

I was just over reading another thread then came over here. I’ll have to say it’s a good move–a gathering place for the die-hards where they can bash Governor Huckabee and his efforts in peace. Geronimo seems happy looking to Roger Waters for guidance in the Church of the ever-flowing Koolade. Personally I would leave the thread alone. If they’re happy and blissful over here then there’s nothing wrong with that and nobody should be trying to interject reason of any sort.

Your comment reminds us Christians why we have such big problems with Mike Huckabee in any elected, governing position. Huckabee does not seem to understand that the Bible itself speaks of "Two Kingdoms, " and NOT one. Huckabee's misunderstanding of Romans 13 and other texts allows him to make subjective appeals ("I feel" or "my heart tells me" or whatever his various past quotes) to justify the release of convicted murderers from prison. God ordains the Church to be separate from the State because God ordains there to be 2 Kingdoms, not one. I am an evangelical Christian. But I find the future candidacy of Mike Huckabee to be very troubling.
