I noticed Crazy Uncle Cafferty and standard issue uptight PBS/NPR liberal lady nodding in agreement as Toobin spoke. Thats exactly the crowd Obama was speaking to at the time of his remarks. Its also the crowd Obama is very much a part of. Thats why he said, why he felt comfortable saying it, and why none of them get it.

I had the feeling in the beginning of Operation Chaos that it would not make a difference. The more that Barry-O shows his face, the more feasible it is that this may work.
At this point, I believe that either one of them are stuck in the mud. Then again, I will go back to the NEA argument that enough of our society has been dumbed down enough to believe these tools.

Isn’t it interesting that he focussed on the “lashing out at others”, ie racism. At least he acknowledged that that was the take away.
Hillary’s comment didn’t really suggest that looking down was more than their interest in gun rights and religion. Clearly she wouldn’t because that race thing is the third rail.
But Obama brought religion into it. A “priority” he claims to share. Unless he is talking in San Fransisco, of course.
