You just dont see Christians or any other group that I know of, go around and cut peoples heads, stone them to death, or the countless suicide bombings of innocent men, women and children.

Even in the clip at the very beginning, you dont see them dragging off women and children and beating, hanging, stoning, raping etc…

And the scriptures they bring up are not what most Christians base their beliefs on… theres are more based on the teachings of Jesus, in the New Testament.

Blah…. no matter… they wont see their own hypocrisy no matter how much you show it to them.

Precisely. They were referring to a spiritual war against Satan…NOT a physical war. Apparently that’s the this guy can do. There is simply no comparison between the two religions and his lame attempt to show otherwise is just that – lame.

And if you wondering about the so-called violent passages in the Old Testament, remember this: if you’re not a part of the “Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites” then it doesn’t apply to you. It’s exclusive and extremely particular.

Surprisingly enough the Shia muslims believe that their Mahdi will be released from below the earth in the end days, he will rule the earth along with the muslim Jesus and convert the whole earth to islam by the sword.

The native Americans were descendants of Shem and some possibly of Japheth.

The people of india, even in some of their ancient books date their ancestory back to Shem.

My thoughts as well. Plus, even the litte girl said her “war” was not physical, but spiritual. I agree though, that lady lays “war” on a bit thick with kids. They don’t know the difference.

I would encourage you to at least read the New Testament in order to know what you are refuting. Besides the fact that there are over 300 prophecies from your Bible fulfilled in Jesus Christ, I would highly recommend you read the Book of Revelations at the minimum.

The main point I was making was that the New Testament did not “repudiate” or abrogate the Old Testament. The two are not contra to one another. The New is a decoder book of sorts for the Old; it reveals the many mysteries outlined by the “Law and the Prophets.”

The Koran and the BoM also claim to reveal many of the mysteries outlined in the Law and Prophets. That doesn’t make their revelations concerning the HB authoritative.

Even if your argument is that he New Testament fixes this then what about the Jewish religion?

I am not a Christian. It’s not a matter of accepting or denying the author of Luke. It’s a matter of accepting God’s word when He says that the Hebrew Bible is eternal. If it’s eternal, then it cannot be “fulfilled”.

In Britain hardly anyone goes to church. It is widely believed that in a few years mosque attendance will outstrip church attendance. If you said to any of the liberal-left establishment that Britain is a Christian country they would immediately howl you down that no, it isn’t, it is a secular state. The clear drift of all legislation from the UK government is away from Christian values (gay marriages, human-animal hybrid embryos, and so on). So why, when the UK is so clearly as far away from Christianity as it has ever been, does Christianity suddenly get the blame for the behaviour of British soldiers??
