Of course, there’s the other Times’ piece by Wesley Clark castigating McCain for not being present in the Senate during his presidential campaign to work on veterans’ benefits. Left unsaid, of course, is that his presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, has an equally abysmal attendance record as a result of her campaign.

I am worried that McCain might be stomping fluffy bunnies at his Arizona home when nobody is watching. The potential is there for some serious cruelty, we can’t say for sure that it isn’t happening. People have a right to know for sure!

What the hell makes Brent Scowcroft a “realist” or “pragmatist”?

His foreign policy positions just parallel what American business interests prefer in US Foreign Policy. Is this all it takes to become a “realist”?

As far as I can tell, the “realists” and “pragmatists” just support whatever the British government supports.
