Apparently before the Queen’s inauguration ran into Obama….

The article points out that the administration’s problem with the cartoons is their denigration of a minority group, not the fact that they have political or religious angles. So it’s not really a double standard here, since there don’t seem to be examples of other professors with negative postings about specific minorities. It’s more of a case of censoring materials that are offensive to minorities, which should still fall under free speech.

The prof would be in a position to make the administration and others’ lives miserable and I suspect he will. After all, the stalinists don’t offer logical arguments, just hate and harassment. The spectacle may make some of the students take notice of the vast difference between the knuckle draggers and a conservative and it may change their perspective.

I puzzled by the source of this cartoon. It’s a leftist pro-Palestinian site. Maybe, it’s just paranoia on my behalf, but I’d run a virus scan if you download from there.
