I don’t normally disagree with Jet, but this time, I dunno. I thought Dole showed character by resigning from the Senate when he ran for Prez.

Thing is, McCain was re-elected to the Senate by the people of Arizona. He has that job to do. Although I believe he’ll beat either Dem, and most certainly will be the next POTUS, nothing is written in stone just yet.

I mean, heck…the man won’t even take Secret Service protection. I don’t know how any Republican can’t like the guy.
